Love all the info you’re giving ! 😭 how was the transferring process transferring from your old school to UH? I’m thinking about transferring there from Texas state also if you used loans did the school give you enough and/or any scholarships?
Thank you for taking the time to watch :) As for the process, moving from UNT back home was a lot but I was able to pack small. Then driving from the north side to UH with more stuff caused me to take two trips 😂. I did take out some loans to cover the cost, UH isn’t as generous as I hoped so I have to pay with the loans.
Hello I was thinking about moving into university loft come 2020, I wanted to ask about noise level? I wanted to take my bird and was wondering if neighbors would be bothered or be able to easily hear his chirps and screams
Hey! Is the campus "safe?" I heard that the UH-Main is located in 3rd Ward and apparently 3rd Ward is dangerous? What was ur experience if u dont mind me asking
It's not as bad as ppl chalk it up to be. I def don't suggest walking alone on the outer parts of campus, and in general just don't walk alone at night on campus or really anywhere around downtown. I keep pepper spray and a whistle on me and I don't use headphones when I'm walking alone at night. Some parts of campus, like Cullen Blvd and the more remote/outer areas are definitely not as safe. But overall, it's really not bad and almost all college campuses have similar safety issues. Just general common sense and awareness of surroundings is needed
@@nehaalex7378 Ah okay thank u! Sorry, I hope won't mind me asking one more question but is the business building (CT Bauer) located on the outer parts of campus? I'm not from Texas so I'm not familiar w/ the area lol
@@user-vj1dm5ou4q No worries, you're good! Nope, Bauer is right in the center of campus next to the student center so it's generally safe and typically crowded/well-lit. If you need help with anything else let me know!
Thank you! Your content was very informative & I was able to make all of the purchases I needed to move in & be comfortable!

Joshua Ashley okay and did everything cover living in the lofts as well or did you have to come out of pocket some ?
Leah Alexander I didn’t not have to come out of pocket due to the fact that I used an outsourced loan (SallieMae)
Love. love. love 💜

Hello, it’s really hard to hear, the walls aren’t as thin as some other dorms. However, be sure to check the pet policies before considering.

The loft price about $5k is that for both semesters or a single semester
Both
Joshua Ashley and for the lofts do you have to buy the meal plan?
@@adil21faraz You do not have to, I did for one year and then started to cook!
Hey Joshua, i am wanting to move in to a one bedroom loft apartment starting January. How is the cost?
rita assani hello! For a 1 bed, furnished, it’s
$6,239. Unfurnished is $6,058.
@@JoshuaAshley what comes with the unfurnished, like just bed?
