Acid E's Whizz coke and blow and the dreaded drink for me in the past, went from budweiser and jack daniels and coke with charlie in my drink and a nice fat joint, to cider and rollys , now i don't touch nothing, gym sauna and swim for me now!

That's what I done when I first got clean 30 years ago, got gold and rolex watches, sold them all went Thailand, actually with a few scousers living in North London great times them days in recovery with them boys,
💡idea Billy. If you and Marv went into Prisons with a theatre company (your own) working in criminal justice and social welfare settings. You've had acting experience and Marv has the look of an actor. All that wisdom and shared experience getting to prisoners before they get released with keep safe, stay well intervention strategies. There's not many doing it and who are prisoners going to listen to? People with lived experience who have turned their lives around.

LOL I have that para feeling about being seen as still an addict... i try to be impeccable in my appearance at all times and have clean trophy's - usually things i used to sell as soon as i received them as gifts (perfumes/ jewellery for example). some NA meetings i've been to are literally fashion shows... never see a clean addict looking not clean haha. Love the channel ... wish i was brave enough to show my face and do this but id probably get sacked and never work again - brave!!!
Is right mate, I went through years of working holding down a job to pay for my addiction. Acting normal, it is a job in itself. Always wanted to look clean and liked to look good.

I’m looking forward to the podcast with Billy. I’m sure it will start from the beginning as a kid to the point where you got into drugs and all the madness and jail etc but what I’m looking forward to the most is the point where you got a kick up the ass or to better phrase it when reality kicked in and at that point you decided it’s time to change my life and what motivated that change and what keeps you on the straight and narrow path to stay clean. I think these points are so important to viewers who are struggling with any addiction, and who better to tell that story than you Marvin, coz you have lived through it and probably seen it all and I’m sure your experience and what your doing now will inspire people because some don’t see there is a way out, your living proof of that coz not many people have walked a mile in your shoes sir. 0:46 I totally get that, I’m clean after 30 years of heroin, 40 if you include daily weed, for all that time, every last penny went on it. I now have a diamond in a gold ring that I treasure, I dress well, it just means so much after making do with boots with flapping soles, being badly dressed with whatever was to hand. I don’t want anyone that knew me before to think I’m back on it. It’s a matter of personal pride.
