Version 1.1.2:
- Fixed Mobile Buttons bug: It wasn't working on some devices because GMS was detecting a gamepad, MMXE automatically switched to the gamepad and disabled the mobile buttons. Now you can go back to the keyboard option if you want to use the touch screen buttons.
- Improved Gamepad config: Now you can turn on the joystick on the gamepad config. You can also select which gamepad you want to use in case you connected more than 1 gamepad just by clicking in the gamepad icon.

Especially if you get blizzard with ice spit follow-up, which i get a lot when trying to do chill penguin
@KamiSquad_X i would assume that would mean certain things would need to be significantly changed, like the boss' health and how damage gets dealt to them.

i was thinking like mmx8, where the boss freely takes damage, up to a point, and then they go into a longer period of invulnerability.

I love to see all the work on Mega Man X fan games, but I do wish authors would work together so projects have a better chance of getting finished. We have this, Corrupted, and half a dozen other projects that have been worked on for years...
This project is different from others. It is not a fangame itself, but a fangame engine, when it's done (by done I mean ready for use, there will always be new things to add, it doesn't have an end) people will already be able to use it to create their own fan games. That's the goal of this project.
Also, we've only been working on this for a year and other projects and content creators have already contributed and cooperated with us to help us finish what we set out to do.

This looks absolutely amazing. I have to admit that it strikes me as flat out weird to see Chill Penguin as any kind of credible threat, but I genuinely think this guy would absolutely wreck me a few times before I managed to eke out a win.
I've seen Zero added to a few early X games already, but this is the first time I've seen Axl, though admittedly I don't follow the Mega Man X Rom hacking community overly closely. He seems to play very well, with some really interesting mechanics. I admit that I would really like to give him a try, even though I wasn't particularly impressed with him in X8.
The music is Amazing!!! An absolute credit to 90's Capcom. We heard 4 songs in this video. A small clip of Chill's level before you entered the boss room, the boss intro music, boss fight music, and the victory fanfare. Of these, I would actually listen to the first three on a Playlist on TH-cam, they just sound absolutely incredible.
I don't like the victory fanfare. It creeps me out and the energy is all wrong, especially since you just beat an awesome boss, but that is just my opinion and I believe that the best way to respond to this much effort is complete honesty and I'm only one person anyway, maybe I'm an outlier.
Overall an incredible video and I absolutely want to play this game. Keep up the great work.

Amigo, tenho uma sugestão na questão dos controles, você poderia fazer o seguinte (no caso do Android não sei como fica no computador) poderia deixar como a pessoa quiser, no caso personalizado, se vc já usou algum emulador, sabe que tem como fazer isso.
Isso ajudaria muito quem quisesse personalizar no teclado e no Gamepad.

That would be quite the undertaking, fitting a 3D game to a 2D engine. You could certainly try it, I doubt this guy has it in his plans.
It will certainly be possible with this engine. We already have Axl included and will soon have the Glide Armor implemented. It will be very doable to create a 2D, 16-bit version.

Whelp it took me a few hours to beat chill penguin and i can't do it unarmored, I need X1 Body part and X2 Arm part to beat this improved boss.
I must said you are pretty good to dodge the ice spike(Not the Maverick Hunter X one).
Congrats! Keep at it though and you'll beat him with unarmored X!
@@Kaegrin_Kai One thing i noticed is that usually you can dodge the shotgun ice thing by simply go to the corner. But i guess that tactic no longer work due of how big the boss room. Usually you can do that in maverick hunter x.
But i guess you can't do it here, You have to do it hard way.
And the Chilled Penguin where he spit ice that break into sharp ice is give me a slight trouble to dodge.
Not gonna lie, I tried beating with body part only and it's still not enough. So i use X2 Arm Part, Even though i can say it's a minimum to make this easy. It's still trouble to beat him but not hard as body part only

So I don’t get it, is there a reason why people don’t use Ryuenjin on Chill Penguin? Doesn’t it do added fire damage?
It does 3 damage, Hu Ha Hoo does 4. Messenko does 3. Ryuenjin hitbox is small compared to Denjin but I will try to improve it.
