Congrats! I've been lusting after this exact guitar for a few years now. Was never really a fan of the SG aesthetically, but something about the Pelham Blue and Lyre Vibrola makes it it special imo.
I have wanted this guitar for about 2 years but couldn’t justify the cost nor did I have the money to allocate to it. So I started saving and got a raise in pay to add a touch more to it. Then Sweetwater accepted my offer and all the stars aligned.
Nice job Dr.T. As per my usual custom, I jumped right on past the unboxing crap. :) Guitar sounds and looks great. Saw you hit 109 on the Db meter a time or two as well. Good job.
I have nothing against relicing, but I prefer mine to earn its battle scars. I have a Les Paul special with a scar, and I'll always remember where and when it happened - and who's ass I kicked because of it.

@@tweedcouch I had no idea Sweetwater could haggle on price. Good to know!

You miss the full experience. Lol. I do need to do more tone videos.
Great choice, can’t fault anything about this.
Ya. Such a great guitar. Spent about 2 hours with it today. No regrets.

Great comment. I prefer it that way too. For some reason, checking is different to me.
