I’m so happy you loved keeper of the lost cities! The series only gets better!! I read the goblin emperor recently and really enjoyed it - it’s quite different from typical action packed fantasy but the main character is so loveable and the political intrigue and character relations are great 👍

I think if you get sent a different *cover* (art-wise, that is), they can't do much about that, but if you paid for a hardback and were sent a paperback, I imagine they'll either refund you if they're out of hardbacks (they did for me once) or offer to send out the correct version!

I've also started Keeper of the Lost Cities! I'm only 50 pages into the first book (it was all I had time for during my lunch break at work), but I'm really intrigued by and want to continue!

Also, I just finished reading Cursed and it will translate very well in tv because OH MY GOD many ish happens!!!! I highly recommend reading it as soon as you can (before it gets published)!!!!!! I don’t think it is a standalone though because there are many things that hasn’t been explained about what happened after if that makes sense. I hope we get a book 2 in the future.
In my experience, book outlet is really good about mistakes. I got a book that was missing a page and they sent me a replacement no problem and I didnt even have to return the original.
I might have to read Words Of Radiance in November as well because I've been meaning to read it for a while! I would also highly recommend getting the Wax and Wayne (Mistborn era 2) because those books are amazing as well! Also, I'm curious.... Will you do a book unhaul video? :)

I bought my hardcover Wheel of time books from the Strand. They were $9 each. If you look inside the ones cowritten with Brandon they may have a stamped signature of Robert Jordan's. Brandon didn't want to sign books that weren't also signed by Robert Jordan.

Hey Kristin. I was wondering if you know where I could find a hardcover UK cover of Strange the Dreamer with the sprayed edges? I have been looking everywhere for one and have had no luck.
I bought mine on Book Depository when it first came out. I'm not sure if it's still available. Otherwise, I would check eBay or Abe Books until it shows up!
The sprayed edges were only for the first printing, and all hardcovers in general are sadly out of print. So definitely check the second hand sellers! Prepare your wallet, though😅
I read The Goblin Emperor and I hated this book with a passion. It was a huge disappointment for me. The main character was an annoying insecure teenager who couldn't stop whining about not having friends when honestly he had much more important things to concern himself with. And the author never misses a chance to show off what a good and polite boy he is. It was so annoying. Besides I expected court intrigues (because that's the way the book is advertised) however there weren't many intrigues, to be honest, and everything was just happening very conveniently for him. I thought it was irritating and unrealistic. I was so excited about this book and really wanted to love it, but life doesn't always go the way we want it to go apparently.

I know B&N did a leatherbound edition of Phantom recently! Sadly, that seems to be a book that doesn't get republished as often as other classics.
