Great video (as always!) I have Mistborn on my shelves, and you’re making me really excited about that. One day I’ll get to it. Anyway, I’m really happy that you finished Keepers and loved it so much. I loved the first book myself, but it took me a little while to get into it. However, the second book was so good once I got to the final few chapters that it made me want to continue the series immediately. I basically binge read them all after that. Having read Flashback recently - wow. You will love it!
I’m currently reading The Well of Ascension and omg I’m not ready to be killed by this series (even though the first book already basically did) 😅👏🏼 second favorite series so far and I’m not even halfway through the second book yet! I just love this world and these characters SO much! Pls make a spoilery Mistborn video so I can watch it after reading The Hero of Ages 😊

I’m so happy you love the keeper series - it’s my new obsession haha (well that and stormlight). My favourite characters are Keefe (he’s trash but I love him) and Linh who you meet later in the series!

Keeper of the Lost Cities series is excellent. It deserves more praise. I have read every book in this series and can't wait for the next book coming out in November. They are all 4 and 5 star books. Some are pretty big books but so worth the read. Highly recommended. So addictive. The audiobooks are really good if you have Audible. >I want Sophie and Keith to be together.

I think it’s awesome that you ended up binging books 2-3 for the first Mistborn trilogy! It’s really cool, and it makes me want to read The Hero of Ages soon. I read 15 books in August. My favourite book was Summer at Buttercup Beach by Holly Martin. My least favourite book was Amanda's Wedding by Jenny Colgan. I wanted to DNF it so badly but I put all of my effort into it and finished it. I gave it 1 star. I didn't care for the story and the characters. I finished the Thorne of Glass series and The Dark Artifices series as well. I did enjoy Kingdom of Ash and Queen of Air and Darkness but in honest, I didn't love Queen of Air and Darkness as much as everyone else did but I did like it. I am so obsessed with the Hogwarts express spine books behind you. I saw it on Books with Chloe's channel. I need this in my life right now 💝💝💝💝

Wasn't Mooncakes so cute? I read it and adored the story. Such a perfect fall read. Also, I've been meaning to read Bioshock Rapture for a while! I love the games so I can't wait to finally get to it.
I just started watching Avatar the last airbender and I'm loving it. Hopefully I'll get to the books after I'm finished with the show. I'm for sure checking out the adventurers guild, anything D&D related is automatically added to my tbr haha

I finished reading Cursed and I hope there will be a book two!!!! I also finished reading book zero of the Throne of Glass Series (The Assassins Blade) and am excited to continue on with the series!!!!! I also started reading the Shadow and Bone trilogy so I can be able to read King of Scars. I am also currently reading With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo and I am LOVING IT SO MUCH!!!!!! I highly recommend reading it!!!!!!

But I was so painfully bored for the whole first section of the book, and then what really made me give up was the fact that I counted the words, "coin/coins," used 24 freaking times from pages 187 to 189! I almost threw the book across the room, lol. But, seeing your pure joy shine through over the series almost makes me want to try to read the rest. Bring Me Their Hearts sounds interesting! Definitely adding that to my TBR. I've got the first Keeper of the Lost Cities book on my shelf to read soon, hopefully!

OMG I had to put down Gideon the Ninth too. The writing is so confusing to me. I made it about 150 pages and I had no idea what was going on. Maybe I’ll pick it up again, idk.
Don't feel bad (though I was bummed out too)! Gideon the Ninth seemed like the plot could be interesting, but it seemed very surface level in the writing. It started out extremely expositiony with info dump (confusing as it was) and Gideon was a caricature of a "different" outcast/smartass. It read to me like something from Wattpad, pre-editor. I quit after one chapter, unimpressed. ✌️❤️
omg hard same when it comes to the witcher series. I LOVED the short story collections, which is odd, cause I too do not like short story collections. at all. but the novels.... like, I wish you all the best but I dnf-ed the fifth book/third novel. the second novel was such a drag, that I I just lost interest and found myself not caring anymore. can't wait for the netflix series tho, as it looks like it's based on the short stories.

lifeamongbooks oh no! I’ve heard people say that about the Witcher books so I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll end up liking the later ones better!
I don't think the witcher short stories are really necessary for the full witcher series.
the third book is pretty bad though.
