Beautiful view in sunset!!! Thanks for sharing!!! You guys have a great attitude! Hope you had a great time in Antakya as well, there is a Turkish series I am watching, kind of a sad one called, “Kalp Yarası” it is taken in Antakya.
We have yet to visit the east side of Türkiye. I agree, I normally don’t like roadtrips, but it’s pretty cool in Türkiye, the gas stops have descent food.
When were in Türkiye 2018, I was so surprised to see how much vineyards there were driving through Izmir. Hello, from Orlando, Florida! 👋😀

Hello, Mardin is not a Turkish city, but a Kurdish city. Local peoples of Mardin are majority Kurds, then Arabs and Assyrians come. The Turks that are there are policemen, military and officials who are appointed by state who are sent out of different Turkish cities. Mount Nemrut also belongs to Kurdish region.
I do not realize that Kurdish cities, culture as Turkish is asmilated. Turks were only 900 years ago from Central Asia. Kurds were always in Mesopotamia and have jointly built a high culture and civilization with other Mosopotamic neighbors. And now they are all assimilated as a Turkish.
