The subtle hand positions of your figures really do add the human interaction to the scene. The figure in the back of the halftrack has perfect placement. Nice work once again
Really enjoyed your comments about the salt method! I definitely need to try. I’ve used a “reverse chipping” method with masking fluid - I liked the technique and effect but just felt the weathering was out of scale, in the end. Just an absolutely lovely diorama. Thank you for sharing!

Yeah, the salt technique is pretty easy really and it’s a lot less work that’s for sure and I’m always worried about breaking some thing on the kit but I have to scrub the paint off with the hairspray technique. If you look on my website, there’s a early stug three with a 75 mm gun and it’s painted yellow and I did the salt technique on that one as well. Check it out. Interesting idea to use the hair from your eletric razor. Never thought of that. I suppose a bushy beard, with some PVA and leaf bits or other "foliage" might make some interesting bushes.
Excellent diorama and great video! Couple of things I'd like to know. I don't think you mentioned which kit the 250 was. Was It Dragon? Also where did you find the photo references? Where they in one book? Thanks again for some very fine modelling!
Thanks for the kind words. Yes, the 250/8 is a Dragon kit. And my good friend Roger Hurkman has done extensive research on operation Conrad and he told me they had 250/8’s during the campaign.

Awesome work, Glenn, I could feel the cold wind and the sound of tank tracks in the background. Figures are great, they are nicely animated as well.
