wow. we (yes I'm saying we because we're all a clique. not 2 but one. we go through everything together with this band.) made Ty feel insecure about a song that was about his insecurities. we're sorry and we will always sing along |-/
awesome interview. 104.5 has always cared about this band, and it shows in the caliber of questions they deliver. finally getting to hear about their feelings about Bbc and the Stressed Out lyric change was so great
i wish people would understand... he has anxiety!! he doesn't like to talk most of the time! so ofc he didn't use it, and ofc he doesn't get the mic very much.
it's just giving him the option though. also it's not really good to enable ppl with anxiety, josh even talked about pushing yourself (i freak out over phone calls, i could never be a telemarketer lol)
Great interview; great questions and great answers! Also, a lot of people say they don't like Stressed Out because it became too mainstream, but I don't really get why. Tyler says he likes the song, so why don't we too? I still love Stressed Out even though it's a bit overplayed on the radios.
the newer car radio and stressed happen to be my least favorite songs by them, but not because they're mainstream, because they're more rap than the rest of their songs, and that's just not the kind of music I generally enjoy, I like the old car radio because there's a depth of emotion in the way he talks that's deep enough I consider it singing. Maybe other clique members feel the same? that might be part of the reason.
finally an interview that ask them what we *really* want to know about, not that same shit that interviews always do.
Agreed.
Mom: What genre is that band you like?
Me: Josh's pecs
Mom: What
Me: What

I love this interviewer, he's so down to earth.
I like how that expression describes people who are in their heads more than actually present. I find it interesting

what do you mean "enable people with anxiety"
also in recent interviews josh HAS been talking a lot more so
+r7dio.boy Josh doesn't usually get a microphone though..
The interwiewer only looked at Tyler and ignored josh but i like the fact that Tyler tried to includ josh all the time
Josh is so nervous about playing the trumpet im-

The only thing that I can think of when Josh says 'That's a good question' is the tøp debate 😂
Tyler was definitely pissed at the BBC. But don't worry Tyler, we're all pissed at the BBC too.
I love Tylers explanation of the new stressed out lyrics. Oh and Josh looked good as usual
I just love this band so much I'm crying
Don’t cut the interview off! It was a great one. Thanks.
Gosh I love them so much

this interview is so good. I love tyler n josh sm
Okay, now we need josh to sing please... For growing reasons of course 👀
for science
For biology
well he has really bad anxiety and stage fright, so unfortunately that probably won't happen anytime soon.
+planetdun oh I know, but maybe start with a mic next to his drum set, doing background vocals or something lol that'd be pretty awesome.
+Diamond Hill yes!
All in due time I'm sure 👏🏼👏🏼
fsr the thought of josh tackling someone to protect tyler makes me melt
We will always sing along |-/
i will stay with him to the day i die
This was _on_ my birthday and I didn't know they existed then, lol.😂
i hope this doesn't put them off the uk much, most venues here honestly aren't that strict. bbc are just weird
