    This film is made primarily to address the issue of dwindling admissions to architecture courses in various academic institutions. The root cause of this is the lack of awareness of the education and professional practise of architecture amongst aspiring high school students and their parents who are looking for career options.
    This film, was produced by the Council of Architecture, a statutory regulatory body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The film was directed and made by Ramprasad Akkisetti, the head of India House Art Gallery (IHAG) and the Managing Director of CCBA Designs. As a novice, this is the first by him.     This short film was made by India House Art Gallery, a sister concern of CCBA Designs Pune, led by Ramprasad Akkisetti. India House is synonymous with haute culture and creative energy in the metropolis of Pune, a city of great culture and history. Extending this tradition, Ramprasad Akkisetti, has created India House Art Gallery in the West End of Pune, at Balewadi, offering a large spatial domain for art. The gallery is dedicated to the exhibition of master artist’s work, exploring timeless energy with fresh commitment. India House Art Gallery stands for passion, dedicated to the interpretation of human existence through highly crafted imagery. The gallery is committed to working with exceptional artists who are visually gifted, technically exceptional, and of important artistic merit and accomplishment. Whatever the medium represented the art works are well rafted, unique and transformational. Though tied to no specific aesthetic philosophy, the gallery seeks to introduce the connoisseurs of Pune and the rest of India to creative genius that is of truly international quality, and influential nature. The gallery hosts autumn, winter and spring exhibitions, with related talks and seminars. It is led by Mr. Ramprasad Akkisetti, who is a Founder Managing Director of CCBA Designs. He has been in the creative space for the past 2 decades, leading the country’s premier architectural firm. He is an alumnus of AFMC, having academic backgrounds in medicine, with master’s in psychology & anthropology,
    Ram has authored books, been a publisher of one of the best seller architectural book, “Letters to a young architect” in addition to having written about architecture and published photographs in more than 100 journals and magazines in India and abroad. As an independent curator he runs an exclusive art gallery called India House Art Gallery, in Pune. He has toured around the world and lectured on Art, Architecture and Life style at several forums.

    But I feel you need to kickstart a finishing school for architecture other than degree to make the fresher aware of a lot of things.
