Talking about Onana without discussing the fact that not only does he have the ENTIRE first choice defence out injured, but Casemiro is also dropping clangers and the team is playing poorly from back to front (minus Hojlund perhaps), is truly a sign of modern football chat. How on earth are we not discussing the fact that he’s barely played with Martinez or Varane, never mind Shaw or Wan Bissaka.
@@TheMufc123 It means he’s facing more shots than he ought to be doing, and whilst he’s dropped some serious clangers, let’s not pretend that he hasn’t already had several goals scored against him from 1v1 positions which shouldn’t be happening. 1st of all, why is Nunez on there? 2nd; the impact required from Onana for ManUtd is greater than that required of Havertz, hence why, based on his performances, Onana is a slightly bigger flop so far. "So far" being the key word here, it's only been 8 games. Mount sort of falls into the same bracket as Havertz. Putting Havertz as the "least flop", even as a Gooner, is just not right. He's 2nd or 3rd in that list.
Havertz has costed us in any game, there is that entrenched Bias against him ..he was key in the three points against City and Palace.. draw against fulham wasn't his doing, drwa against spurs wasn't his doing either, lose to lens Havertz had a better game than everyone else really
@@tinotendamasiyiwa132There was one game where he gave away the ball and the opponent scored (Spurs maybe but definitely at the Emirates) but outside of that he's just been mid, coming from an Arsenal fan
So what Havertz cost 65m? He is a signing that gives Arsenal some needed depth to the squad, he is a signing that gives an alternative to Martin Odegaard. Arsenals best and starting midfield trio is Rice, Partey and Odegaard. There is no way Havertz is the worst signing simply cause of the abovementioned reasons, he is meant to be an alternative to Odegaard and to give squad depth as well as offer an alternative lineup depending on opposition. No one expected him to be a signing that bagged 5+ assists 5+ goals by now. He has been decent tbf and in the latest game against City he did bag a very important assist. Rory & co are just coping.
You’re deluded if you agree with Turkish. Thats like one person buying a Ferrari for 1 million and another person buying a beat up Toyota Corolla for 500k, and then making the argument that the Ferrari is a worse purchase because you had no expectations for the Toyota 😂
They had to give Havertz a penalty just so he could get off the mark! Just goes to show how average he is. Chelsea are laughing all the way to the bank.
But look, at arsenal he is not a false 9, he plays as an 8 😅i don't expect him to score more that Saka, Jesus, martinelli and odegaard..on Sunday he played as false 9 and players played off him , he silenced a lot after that game 😅and he will silence a lot more
Pundits say Havertz worst signing after 8 unbeaten games . Don't forget these are mostly footballers who failed to have a good coaching career. Arteta is definitely the best young coach out there and has brought in Havertz and Hasn't lost a game in the most difficult league. Now if that's not good enough you're watching the wrong sport.
I’m a spurs fan but why is Caicedo even on this list he’s a ballerrr, just give him time his start hasn’t even been that bad given the shit ballers he’s surrounded by
Havertz really hasn't been that bad he hasn't been amazing but have they forgotten Caicedos first few games for Chelsea giving away a pen losing the ball constantly, people were saying onana was the third best keeper in the league when he was signed, people thought mount would be a much better signing then havertz yet he doesn't work in the midfield with fernandes which is why they struggled vs wolves and lost to tottenham and then he got injured, havertz hasn't been great but he hasn't been the worst signing out of these options
@unitedreamer4908 one team finished 3rd and won a domestic trophy, the other finished 2nd. They're the most comparable teams in the league, Havertz has been average, Onana has been poor
@ACE360x no they're not. Before the season, no one thought top 4 was attainable. Utd was projected to be 5th behind Liverpool and Chelsea. No one expected Liverpool or Chelsea to drop off like that.
Appalling defense of Kai by Turkish. Havertz's defensive stats are better than Xhaka's from last season, across the board - and - Kai has been, statistically, one of the best defensive #8s in the PL through 8 games. Arsenal have faced the fewest shots on target of any team in the league through the first 8. We got a clean sheet away at Palace, away at Everton, away to Bournemouth, home to PSV, home to City. Arteta is making Arsenal defensively stronger this season and Kai's fantastic defensive stats are a significant part of that. Also look at his coming on last 20 againat City. He won every aerial duel from Raya's goal kicks, and successfully held up and laid off the ball every time, helping us manage the game and relieve pressure at the end. Offensively, is he lacking? Yes. But Smith-Rowe and Vieira didn't replace Xhaka last season for one reason: Mikel wasn't prepared to lose what Xhaka brought defensively. Kai will come good with his G/A stats, don't worry about that.
Let me put it this way to back my man Turkish here, when: 1. Onana was comming to United, we all expected him to be the golden glove challenger based on what we saw him doing with Inter. 2. Caicedo came from Brighton to Chelsea for highest fee and as arguably best player from Brighton squad, we expected him to be challenging Rodri for best CM. 3. Nunez came to City to be the next Gundogan on that position. 4. Mount came to United he was expected to be a better player than Havertz 100% and was supposed to lift Man United, I remember Rory "crying" over that transfer telling us Mount is the best Midfielder from Chelsea. 5. Havertz came he had absolutely no expectation from anyone of the Premier League clubs supporters to do or be anything good. As a matter of fact 2 G/A says he's somehow doing better than all of the above. Maybe Nunez should be the smallest flop of them all. But I stand with Havertz having 0 expectation is doing arguably fine or the least shameless.
Caicedo 2? Absolutely rubbish mate he’s literally been our best midfielder for the past couple of games… guaranteed all you’ve seen is a couple of clips from his 1st two games vs west gam and forest … he hasn’t made a mistake since while being dribbled past no times
If your bringing in the argument of caicedo not being as good as his price tag then it’ll be only fair if we put declan rice in this list coz both of them have been equally good this szn and bare in mind caicedo didn’t had a pre season with Chelsea so he only got better with more games.
Nunes was supposed to be the next Gundogan, according to who? Gundogan was the captain of City. Nunes was signed just to be a backup midfielder along with Kovacic. Havertz was clearly, definitely signed to be a starter for Arsenal. He still has way more expectations than Nunes regardless of the internet memes. Gundogan also did nothing for City in his first season.
You’re deluded if you agree with Turkish. Thats like one person buying a Ferrari for 1 million and another person buying a beat up Toyota Corolla for 500k, and then making the argument that the Ferrari is a worse purchase because you had no expectations for the Toyota 😂
When a player costs 115MILLION, it doesn't matter if his team is doing bad - Caicedo should be 2nd 100%, this is poor from the lads juat cuz they hate Arsenal lol
Caicedo shouldn’t be anywhere near this list. He’s been the highest ranking midfielder all last 3 games he started. He’s already undroppable for Chelsea
These guys don't watch Arsenal. Havertz hold up play against City won us the Community Shield. His assist to Martinelli won the game against City. The rest of the games he has been ok or good. He wins duells, and works well defensively. It's just been lacking offensively but he has hardly had many chances since he has played mostly as a midfielder not a striker. I think Arteta will use him a a supersub striker from now on that can come in like against City that Raya can ping long balls to and that can also score headers.
🧢 Hes been appalling when played in Xhakas former role, the only two games hes looked decent in are as u mentioned the community shield and against city when he was played as a ST
Turkish is right, literally nobody in the world expected anything from Havertz, nobody. Even today nobody expects him to succeed. Arteta believing in him doesn't mean there's expectation from anyone for him.
Oh so let’s go and pay 65 million for Sam Vokes. And if he flops, it’s okay because nobody expected anything from him 😑 You spent high money on him. He’s gotta perform otherwise he’s a bad signing.
The issue with havertz so far is he's made the team worse while players like mount hasn't had a positive or negative impact to the team overall, same with nunes. I also reckon despite caicedo being that expensive he has made chelsea a better team. The thing is no one knows what havertz does. He's not a good passer, nor is he good at retaining the ball, neither is he a good dribbler and he can't shoot. I know he assisted the winner vs city but the fact that he was benched for a game that really mattered tells you how much Arteta trust havertz right now. The only reason he was played before was to justify the price tag.
It wasn't "most overrated signing". It's about THE WORST signing. So the fact that nobody expected anything of Havertz and arsenal still signed him for a massive fee, makes it even worse lol
@@hellohi1445 yh but no arsenal fan wanted him or was hyping him up aside from generally just trying to be positive to him because he is now an arsenal player. the point is yes he is a flop, but its not like the arsenal fans gassed him up unlike the united fans claiming onana's "passing" would somehow carry united

He also came gave away a penalty in his debut, and had a poor game or 2 after that he’s been ok this season but he’s not been the worst of the 5
@@LPVW04yea I agree, but his first appearance was a crazy situation, from not playing pretty much all preseason, weeks and weeks of negotiations and waiting in a hotel, biggest signing all time pressure, and coming in second half , down 2-1. I agree he was very poor, but there were definitely extenuating circumstances
@@lwc2349 he played 2 of brightons 4 pre season games, the negotiations were long but every player has to go through it Rice went through the same but has been worth every penny for us, he came on to steady the midfield and did the opposite gave the ball away and nearly cost a goal then gave away a penalty so yeah there were circumstances but no excuses to not be performing well
@@LPVW04 rice had time with arsenal before being thrown in a game down a goal, since then caicedo has been arguably Chelsea’s best mid fielder in a good midfield and making great tackles and finding through balls. Rice had a full preseason with arsenal to hit the ground running
@@LPVW04His first 2 games were bad. After that he’s been brilliant nonstop
Havertz have had a goal & assist in his last few games!!
He has one make a wish penalty and one assist, which was a deflected fluke goal. He's been terrible.
@@tankourito5419Yep 💯
I wonder what they will say about Havertz at the end of the season
Manchester United are keeping tabs on Crystal Palace and England defender Marc Guehi, 23, ahead of a potential move next summer
Rihanna said it!
Onana 😂 what’s my name!
I voted Havertz just for balance really; I know Onana will win.
That expressions impersonation was spot on 🤣💀
i thought they meant darwin nunez at first when i saw the united fans list i was like firstly how are they including players from last season and secondly how would nunez be there hes been class
United guy out here fight for his life lol
Turkish actually made a really good point and I love that none of them could counter it. Havertz came in with huge question marks, and has basically just played 5/10s every game but hasn't really cost the team any points. The rest of the signings were seen as revolutionary for their side and have directly costed their teams points yet somehow he's worse?
bro half the arsenal fan base tried to convince people that havertz was a good signing, turkish is talking out of his ass
But you have to look at the price, havertz cost 60m, just because everyone thought he would suck doesn’t take away from the significance of a 60m transfer being as awful as he has been
How has Nunes directly cost City points?
Also how was he seen as a revolutionary signing lol?
Your comment is nonsense.
@@TP-pq9xx Tbh i wasnt talking about Nunes at all, i don't even know why he's on that list.
@@kayjayess You can make up numbers all you want, but even if we say "half" the fan base, that's different to the other signings where it was ALL of the fanbase was trying to convince you they were the best signings of the window.
Hey Rory, in the intro, you only mentioned 4 players.
Onana, Havertz, Caicedo, and Mount.
Great lil show lads laughing the whole time, smashing banter
8:17 on is probably the greatest thing ever
Talking about Onana without discussing the fact that not only does he have the ENTIRE first choice defence out injured, but Casemiro is also dropping clangers and the team is playing poorly from back to front (minus Hojlund perhaps), is truly a sign of modern football chat. How on earth are we not discussing the fact that he’s barely played with Martinez or Varane, never mind Shaw or Wan Bissaka.
So that means he can't make saves? I'm sick of hearing excuses for him being the worst Premier league goalkeeper we've ever seen
@@TheMufc123 It means he’s facing more shots than he ought to be doing, and whilst he’s dropped some serious clangers, let’s not pretend that he hasn’t already had several goals scored against him from 1v1 positions which shouldn’t be happening.
He’s conceded 12 goals from an XGA of 12.23. Meaning that he should have probably conceded as many goals as he has so far. He isn’t outperforming the shots against him, but overall the numbers aren’t as bad as you might think.
Also ‘the worst premier league goalkeeper we’ve ever seen’. Grow up. It’s been 8 games.
@@deangreen2567 name a worse gk? Goal against Brentford, goal against bayern, one against Brighton, the 3rd against galatasaray and those are the ones I can remember, so he can't possibly be conceding the amount expected. He hasn't made 1 save where you think oo that was a decent save. He's meant to be good with his feet yet only has a 70odd percentage pass completion and gifted galatasary a pen by passing straight to the opposition. The facing more shots argument would work if he wasn't dropping them into his own net.
@@TheMufc123 You can’t be the best or worse anything after EIGHT games. Is Ange Postecoglu the best manager in PL history? Is James Maddison the best player in the PL ever? How about Bellingham in Spain, 10 goals in 10 games… surely he’s the best EVER Real Madrid player?
No.. because it’s been 8 games. He actually has made some decent saves, surely you recall the wolves game, where he was near perfect for 90 minutes barring a flap at the end of the game.
You can say ‘he can’t possibly be conceding the amount expected’ but the statistics disprove your point. How about you pull up your big boy pants, close your lips, and wait another couple of months and judge him then?
@@deangreen2567 near perfect against wolves? A flap at the end? You mean he should of given away a penalty yeah? So even the 1 game you use as an example proved my point 😂
So basically the stats are saying he hasn't conceded a goal he shouldn't have saved? There is not a person alive that believes that rubbish.
Give him as long as you want, but he ain't getting any better, and the number 2 gk must be thinking whats the point in him being there when onana can be so poor but still play 😂

I'm just loving how this aged😂😂😂❤❤❤
Put a bulletproof vest in goal ex is comedy gold
Haverts has provided an assist which helped us beat man city for the first time in eight years

He hasn’t done anything to warrant the 65 mil. 😂
They had to give Havertz a penalty just so he could get off the mark! Just goes to show how average he is. Chelsea are laughing all the way to the bank.
Not to warrant 65millon when Maddison cost 40million
But look, at arsenal he is not a false 9, he plays as an 8 😅i don't expect him to score more that Saka, Jesus, martinelli and odegaard..on Sunday he played as false 9 and players played off him , he silenced a lot after that game 😅and he will silence a lot more

Expression rattled Flex this episode
Pundits say Havertz worst signing after 8 unbeaten games . Don't forget these are mostly footballers who failed to have a good coaching career. Arteta is definitely the best young coach out there and has brought in Havertz and Hasn't lost a game in the most difficult league. Now if that's not good enough you're watching the wrong sport.
They voting in Caicedo who has been magnificent but no mention of MacAllister who has mostly been dreadful
The chelsea hate a real. Caicedo shouldn’t even be mentioned anywhere near this list
Macalister cost 35 million
@@marlonblade007 the cost shouldn't matter that much. He went there with high expectations being a WC winner. Instead, he's been awful all season

Nunez as well wtf, he’s been good
They’re so shameless caicedo has been our best player for the past couple of games, just looked shakey on his 2 debuets
That's not the point. He's struggling in a winning team. Onana is struggling in a shit team. Havertz has all the resources to be successful but isn't.
@unitedreamer4908 one team finished 3rd and won a domestic trophy, the other finished 2nd. They're the most comparable teams in the league, Havertz has been average, Onana has been poor

Literally Havertz kept Arsenal at the top of the table so nothing has changed. Onana and Mount took United to the tenth
🤣🤣🤣
4 seconds in and two 'bloods' or should I say "blad"... 😂 it's like a comedy sketch
Let me put it this way to back my man Turkish here, when:
This just make me see how hated Havertz is.
Havertz is nowhere near the worst .
Expressions just derails any normal debate it’s hilarious

These guys don't watch Arsenal. Havertz hold up play against City won us the Community Shield. His assist to Martinelli won the game against City. The rest of the games he has been ok or good. He wins duells, and works well defensively. It's just been lacking offensively but he has hardly had many chances since he has played mostly as a midfielder not a striker. I think Arteta will use him a a supersub striker from now on that can come in like against City that Raya can ping long balls to and that can also score headers.
It’s a real stretch to call that an assist.
🧢 Hes been appalling when played in Xhakas former role, the only two games hes looked decent in are as u mentioned the community shield and against city when he was played as a ST
Yeh sure it wasn’t the massive deflection which won tbe game against city
He has had chances to score and he has them missed so badly
@@TP-pq9xxBy definition it was an assist
3 goals in 4 matches now 😂
Turkish is right, literally nobody in the world expected anything from Havertz, nobody. Even today nobody expects him to succeed. Arteta believing in him doesn't mean there's expectation from anyone for him.
Still crap 😂
Oh so let’s go and pay 65 million for Sam Vokes. And if he flops, it’s okay because nobody expected anything from him 😑
You spent high money on him.
Good video, but why is everyone arguing about Onana for more than 10 min, who everyone had equivocally as the worst signing.
Havertz has been poor on the ball but to have him only behind Onana is just poor football knowledge. He's clearly just low on confidence. He looks to be in the best environment to get that confidence back.
