    I saw you have run the M5-111 and the 7060 with the 12ft. Mower. Could you tell much difference in how the 2 machines performed? I currently have a 7060 and looked at aM5-111 today.

      It’s an absolute night and day difference I like the 7060 for small things but I absolutely love a m5-111 for mowing. Easiest way I could tell you to compare would be hook that 12ft to a 135 Massey and stick it in 3ft tall grass and see how far you go versus put a 5ft behind it and see what it does. I absolutely regret not buying the m5 before I bought this 7060. I’m still considering taking a loss and trading it in

      Thank you so much for replying that helps alot. Guess I’ll be trying the M5-111 out. Have you ever ran a 15ft behind the M5-111?

    • @tlcbushhogging
      @tlcbushhogging  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@extremepowerstroke I have not but I don’t see that it will have any issue whatsoever handling a 15ft. If I was in a position to do so I would keep my 7060 and buy a m5 and pair it with a 15ft. I know it’s only a 3ft difference but when you are cutting 20+ acres that 3ft makes a difference

    How do you charge by the hour or so much an acre.

    • @tlcbushhogging
      @tlcbushhogging  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If it’s within a certain distance from me it’s by the acre with a minimum. If it’s beyond a certain distance I charge by the hour starting when I leave home

    How do you advertise?I’ve been posting a lot lately on several groups on Facebook I’ve had about 5 people message me but no one has confirmed wanting me to do the mowing.

    • @tlcbushhogging
      @tlcbushhogging  ปีที่แล้ว

      I advertised on marketplace for the longest time but you had to be careful how you worded things. Either other people or Facebook would flag the listing as businesses advertising. I actually have a separate Facebook page that’s for my business I can set all kinds of marketing guidelines. Rather it be local only or promote it for I believe 150 mile radius even set it so it promotes it for post interactions likes and comments or messages. And honestly word of mouth goes a long way

      I have a business page on Facebook, just horrible setting things like that up. Will definitely have to look into figuring that out though.

      @@kraig1507 it’s worked good for me. Also get business cards and just put them on bulletin boards around your town. Local hardware stores and small repair shops places like that are great advertising.

    I see you back onto the trailer, why do you prefer that over the tractor first?

    • @tlcbushhogging
      @tlcbushhogging  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It pulls so much better with less weight on the truck. Second if I have to stop in a hurry I want the weight on those trailers brakes I want to make sure those trailer tires don’t start sliding. And weight distribution if for some reason DOT stops me I don’t want the weight of that tractor on my truck axle I want it on that trailer that’s what those two axles are for they need to carry the majority of the weight. If they scale me and I’m overweight on the truck that’s a substantial ticket and I’d have to unload and reposition anyway to get it distributed correctly

      I have a JD 5075E and a MX7. I does well. I do notice that some of the shorter thicker grass can make it bog down. I can often get a little higher mph if the runs are longer. In the mean time I will just enjoy your videos
