On to my final bottle of AdG Profumo and using it sparingly. For me now my favourite is the hugely under the radar EDP. This has gotten me more attention than any of the AdGs of late, many hours of spraying. I think it’s the most mature smelling in the line too.
I’m relatively new to the channel and love the content!! Wanted to ask if you will indulge me with your insight…..?? Since we’re on the topic of fresh fragrances, I’m wondering what you think Dunhill Icon? Why do I love this fragrance however it might be the weakest I’ve ever experienced in my 55 years, just wanted to know if you had any experience with it at all and what your thought was
Hi. Icon is an incredibly popular Fragrance among collectors. It's easily the No. 1 Dunhill Fragrance in their collection although being a fresh designer fragrance some people, although not all, have issues with its performance. Skin chemistry is a real thing and some Fragrances will work better with certain skin types than others & it's a shame it doesn't perform well on you. I have issues with fresh Fragrances too but not with icon for some reason.
To me and my nose only Artisan is what I consider a fresh scent. For me a fresh scent is more natural smelling, isn't heavy, and with a fresh fruit smell or fresh cut grass smell. The kind of fragrance you were when it's summer in Florida. I know Aventus is known for its pineapple note but to me it doesn't smell like pineapple at all and I love pineapple. Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue, Hermes Givree, Chanel Allure Sport Extreme, Versace Fraiche, and many Aqua de Parma are the type I consider fresh.
This one's interesting because I KNOW what you mean about Artisan Pure and the description of cut grass. It's very fresh. I also get eau Givree 100%, but then Allure Homme Sport eau Extreme kind of threw me a bit because it has a lot of tonka and I find it quite sweet. But for the most part I get what you're saying.
Aventus doesn’t do well because haters. It’s been a leader in the game for so long, it’s gonna take hate. It happens with teams/individuals that win a lot. Haters come out bashing.
Yes, That's definitely a major factor. Another one is price & That's not Creeds fault. They create great original Fragrances & people copy them which in the long term isn't good for long term Fragrance creativity.
Explorer may not be a direct clone of Aventus, but they sure tried... I heard Creed copied Mont Blanc Individuel with Original Santal, and in retaliation, Mont Blanc took a shot at Aventus with Explorer...or so the story goes... ION, the best blues are always predictable... Thanks for the video...
That story wouldn't surprise me one bit. There is no doubt that Explorer is very close, but I don't think it's a faithful a copy as some of the other clones.
I remember when I first bought Dylan Blue. I didn't like like initially but it grew on me. This is very versatile and can be used all year round. I love Versace fragrances especially Eros Flame.🫡😊
Another great list Stuart! Profumo, Dylan Blue, & Prada L’homme are all 🔥🔥🔥
Hey man, thanks! I too love me some Prada L'Homme especially.
Dylan Blue is perplexingly amazing
I am familiar with the first two mentioned and I agree. Take care.
Prada L'homme L'eau is more fitting as a fresh fragrance in my opinion.
That's fair
You know Stuart, I must say I enjoy your relaxed, straight to the point and mature style of video. Great content champ. Take care.
Thanks very much.

I have been trying to figure out why the edp isn't more popular since the day I tried it.
I must agree, the EDP is highly overlooked. My brother once complimented me on it and he doesn't say much about anything. 😂😂
I like your style. Good videos
Cool, thanks!
My order should be in today or tomorrow. I have the similar colognes mentioned and love all three so this should be a good pick up
That anticipation is one of the best parts of the hobby.
Yes! Good video all the ones you mentioned are signature worthy!
Thanks Vance! Funny you should mention that because my next video is on that topic.

I love Energy, I get the Aventus Cologne vibe out if it.
It's something I'll be picking up soon & I don't usual buy new Fragrances. It sounds great.
Great video and hoping for cool weather soon
Me too - at least as far as fragrances go anyway, ha ha. Thanks Mike.

Really like the Superleggera haven’t smelled the Eros Energy.
I haven't heard a single complaint about Superleggera. Not one. No doubt it's nice. I was just hoping for something a little different.
I get good longevity with Artisan Pure...actually I have old batch 🕊
That's one old formulation I"d love to try because it would be great in July & August
👍👍
Duuuuude. Thanks man.

Amen to Eros Flame. I had a similar situation with Eros Flame that you had with Dylan Blue, but boy did I grow into it.
