Actually Rodney was more than a one line comic...and the man was a genius!
So many stand-up comedians today. Some are pretty good, but no one quite as good, or funny, as Rodney Dangerfield. It was nice seeing Dean Martin too. Both were gone for a long time now, but they’ll never be forgotten.
My neighborhood is REALLY TOUGH, ya know! After I moved in, I asked a cop, "How long does it take to walk to the subway station from here?" The cop told me, "I don't know. No one's ever made it."
In little nicky dangerfield gave us a classic line which summed up his entire life and i use the term loosely ~ showbiz! "Even in hell, I get no respect?"

Class...plain and simple...when I was in Iraq serving as an 11b...I would watch Rodney after every mission and he just knew how to cheer me up...I lost my best friend PFC Sean Tharp March 28th 2006...he died in my arms...I didn't smile for years until Rodney came back in my life... Then I came back and redeployed with the 1-502 101st Airborne division.... And was wounded May 23rd 2006.... Thank you for your service... And thank you for having such shoes to fill...
