Astrologists realize that actually we got the year wrong and REALLY it's actually 1876. Charles Humreid invents the very first Nintendo Gamecube - decades before Nintendo's existence.
The day after a mysterious man with a beard shows up with a copy of Super Smash Bros. Melee.
The man proclaims that it is 20NN... and that he's hungry to play Ness.
The rest is history.

ive heard 20PK the most, but when ultimate came out i started hearing 20oK
I thought it would be 199X since that’s what it says in the intro to Earthbound. Not that it really matters too much lol

Melee should have more mid-low tiers tournaments, these characters are so much fun to watch
Its only really entertaining if its top players using them tho. Low tiers can be pretty one dimensional unless in the hands of the very best
I also want to say that I want to see tournaments include MUTE CITY for my personal enjoyment! I don't have a great reason for this, I just like Mute City a lot.
