Nothing beats the original, with Peter O'Toole❤
This is the follow on to it , might not be as good but informative , and if true , shocking ,
This is a would-be sequel, as important to our understanding of Lawrence as is his Arabia exploits.
A day later got through the last third. If you make it right through to the end of the credits you'll see: "This story is fictitious and all characters, names, etc etc.." So that's why "Lawrence" has dark brown hair; I knew there had to be some explanation. Its worth a read. Really.
Fantastic film that I didn't know about. Thank you for posting this.
Those Broughies ... definitely superior !!!
T. E. Lawrence - putting BOVINGTON on the map!
I first started to watch this movie in 1440 BC........still watching the same first time now in 2023 AD
A bit confused, with your post, 1440bc? Lawrence of Arabia, was not around then😂
@@Susan-md6nd
sorry, did not mean to confuse you, it was just may way of passing time....
Do you mean it's on for a long time , I've watched Lawrence of Arabia many times but never whole way through esp if on TV and can't pause , I need tea breaks , quite a few
@@smallfeet4581
no, I was in an offbeat mindset at the time😁
Oh, god please kill me now. I'm only 11 minutes in....... but thats enough for me. Better to see the version with Ralph Fiennes made in the 1990's.
Yes, I like that movie. At least Fiennes is credible.
This is for information rather than entertainment. None of this was in “dangerous man”
The beaurcrats are so bigoted that I couldn't get through their hate.
So it was an assination not an accident, head of the secret security didnt want to lose his job.??? How did you learn the truth?
As for the casting of roles; Lawrence was a small man, spoke 5 languages and gay.
Peter otoole was maybe wrongly cast.
Better than the original
Simply not the original.
Look and relook
Undersrtand.. Heard
I'm watching scenes here and there just to have some idea of the plot... Good Lord! Those scenes on the desert background with black silhouettes of minarets and orange lights... Soooo artificial, sooo false...
Intend watching this. A very nice SS100 featured at the beginning and by 8 mins in is already the best 'actor'. Actor playing Churchill is terrible. As he's waiting inside 'Cloud's Hill' all alone seems far too improbable. Anyway, will watch it, but don't expect to be very impressed.
He got the voice of Churchill tho , no doubt who he's supposed to be imo
@@smallfeet4581 Its fiction. So they say in the credits. Everyone know's neither Winnie or TE had dark brown hair.
TEL lived in clouds hill in his 40s i remember and died at the ageof 46. He looks like someone in his late 20s to 30s. Am I wrong?
What was the motive for killing Lawrence?
Fear that Mosley was going take him to visit Hitler and persuade him to send the German army to fight with the Arabs to get back all that they claimed the French and the British had swindled from them after the Versailles Treaty. Seems what film is hinting at in a gormless way, so that they can say "I didn't really say that" if anyone gets upset.
@@jillfryer6699 My thoughts when I first saw it. A pro fasistic propaganda made in the crudest way. I don't suppose any TV channel has aired this thing.
What has this actor in common with Lawrence? My gosh, Angelina Jolie as Mother Theresa would be better.
It's not quite working for me , I m sure there are other actors more in fitting with this follow up
Theres a 3rd one
At least this one managed to be less than 2hrs not like the original
I wonder, what award had this feature won? A golden rasberry for worst acting ensemble?
It claims a whole row of awards. Maybe for the most wasted time and dead minutes since the invention of cinema? Look at the credits. A lot of loot has been poured into this thing though it claims in a garbled way that it was all done for love by all. If you want to hint at an unpalatable political truth you have to make it interesting.
Prometheus was a better sequel than this.
Ah shit, this ain't Lawrence of Arabia. I'm out.
I don’t think that I have seen such awful acting in a film or anywhere come to think of it
I hate Lawrence
What, after watching this? Or as a fact of life?
