Tried this, amazingly it grew into a cadburys roses bush!! No more buying chocolate for me!! Stuffing my face on a regular basis!! 300lb overweight, can't fit through the front door but otherwise all Gud. Thanx for the post. Next up stuffed £100's in plant pots. Wish me luck, this time next year....

I kinda really liked the quiet of it all. I like in the south now where everything is horrible clay, that soil was to die for, dark and rich! Wonder if this type of ides would work with hydrangeas too? If nothing else, you’re bound to get a potatoe plant! I plant those too bc of the leafy vines they creat. My dog has unfortunately found she really loves finding the potatoes and digging them up in the fall! At first I didn’t know what she was eating, thankful it wasn’t an animal!

Il fera près de 35c aujourd'hui). Vous laissez le pot à l'ombre. Sol maintenu peu humide? Rosiers de type Floribunda? Avez vous tenté avec rugosa? If this works as shown in this video we’ll have some lovely new rose bushes growing in our garden this summer 🤞🏻. But we were horrified to see the first example of how to make the hole in the first potato - using a knife to make the hole by pushing it towards the palm of the hand holding it, what were they thinking!!! The second example of using a drill bit was exactly what we will be using - safer & will produce a much neater hole. We would have already removed the soil from the garden that would be used to cover the potatoes, definitely removing any weeds or other unwanted vegetation. The soil looked a little dry too. We’ll be using suitable potting compost to give the roses (hopefully) a good start and better chance of later becoming rose bushes to be proud of! Time alone will tell us if we’ve succeeded.

I've watched other videos on this method and most of them use some sort of "rooting hormone" you can buy from your local garden center. You also have to cut the stem one quarter inch right below a nodule. that's where the roots are going to sprout out of.
