I love the scene before the wedding when Harry said "I love you and all of your messed up flaws" because this attitude was what made Jarry so special to me. The age gap, their different personalities, a difficult backstory both of them had to deal with, all of this didn't matter because they saw each other as a simple human beings without idealizing anything and walked towards each other with unconditional affection in a way none of them had never experienced before.
@@Mesjoukje Not the scene where James throws Harry out as he feels that Harry is a little coward boy. James felt so angry, disappointed and used. Ugh! James is damaged by his past and I guess mostly by his father´s behavior and I guess that Mac behaved towards James when he was younger just like James behaves now in a psychopathic way towards Romeo. When James had just arrived to the village he had this typical psychopathic behavior. Manipulating and narcissistic and it seemed that he was a real psychopath or so damaged by his mother at the time but now we know that he is damaged by everyone in the past. Parents, boyfriends etc. He is so jealous as he has never felt that he is good enough. He really wanted to change with JP but he betrayed him and Kyle betrayed him in an awful way and then Harry said that he kissed Ste and he couldn´t take it the right way. If Harry had proposed them to seek professional couple counselling in that moment that would have been great. James really needs professional help.
Thank you for your dedication to jarry. I’ve pretty much lost interest in this soap since Harry’s death. Jarry was what interested me. The show runners and writers killed that., very poorly I might add. Well it was fun while it lasted
Me too. I don't watch it currently, and surprisingly I don't miss it much either (the soap that is, Jarry I'll miss in a 100 years from now). I'm happy to leave it here with Hollyoaks and wait till BK is replaced and see if the lgbtq rep improves with that ^^.
My favourite scene was when James woke up after being poisoned and he said that he had too much to live for to die. And outside the hospital after Mac died and James had that breakdown.
Great choice. If I made a top ten best acting moments, I'd 1000% have that scene outside the hospital in it. What an amazing performance from both of them.
@@saranissen6210 I'll think about it. But it might take a while, if I do make it. I'm working on a different top 10 right, which is a lot work (nothing related to Jarry or HO though)
nr. 8 is a favourite of mine because it was such an important moment, it's when Harry shows he can play James his game and that as a couple there would never be a power imbalance, because Harry can hold his own against James if need be. nr. 9, well I love scheming Jarry, I remember when this happened how many headcanons we had about them becoming this powercouple that could take anyone down, because together they can do it all. plus Harry is so pretty in that scene with his smug little behaviour and his desire afterwards to sleep with James. ^^
There are so many great moments, so I understand you had a hard time choosing. To name some scenes not commented allready I love the voice message from Harry (before they find James and bring him to the hospital), where Harry says, that he is proud of him for standing up to his dad and he is much more of a man, than his dad ever was/will be. And the one where he interrupts Harrys date with help from Romeo, and where they are in the kitchen and Harry says "you're forgetting something, you are James Nightingale and Mac doesn't stand a chance."
The moment when Harry makes James realize he´s been an idiot when he asked Sylver to kill/get rid of Mac is my number one. James later asked Harry to leave Ste as he couldn´t stand just having short sexual encounters with him and wanted a real boyfriend.
@@Mesjoukje I also like the moment when Harry told James that there is no doubt in his mind that James is innocent when Sami tried to frame James for Kyle´s murder. Harry comforts James in a very tender way and says that they will find a way to prove that James is innocent. I like all the moments when they hug each other in a tender way. From the moment when Harry didn´t take the keys out of the car in the hit and run storyline something negative changed between them and things never got better in my opinion and that was really not what I wanted to happen and they made Harry so immature all of a sudden (he should have learnt and grown from the past experiences) and I also little by little lost interest watching it as things didn´t feel coherent. Strange decision to make all the Jarry fans so disappointed. I was hoping for a blossoming interesting long-term relationship between the two with professional couple counselling to sought things out and despite age gap feeling that they really completed each other in a positive way, but the producers had since a long time decided to get rid of Harry. Such a waste of time and resources making them a couple in the first place. Grrr!

Yeah, I love that scene. All of Jarry's voicemail message are really good. Stormweek overall was incredible for them. Great choice!
@@Mesjoukje Can't believe this was almost one year ago 😔
@@kalalij9148 Same. like a year ago I could not have predicted Harry dying and James becoming someone I don't even recognise.
