Were there any shortages of food or alcohol? Did you have a good time there? Would you recommend to your family and friends? Good video thank you.

There wasn't a variety of food. Pork was on the menu every day with lamb usually as your secondary option, sometimes fish, rarely saw chicken, not much vegetables. Eggs must have been on short supply as I inly saw it on the breakfast line 2 out of 7 days.
I didn't get to drink much as I was getting over the flu while I was there, and it got worse during my stay. So I'd recommend bringing some basic meds. Juices seemed to be somewhat in low stock though. But their coffee was the best I've had.
Would I recommend going to Cuba and Cayo Coco? Yes. This resort? Questionable. Even for Cuba, the upkeep is quite backlogged with some basic safety issues. Their bath tubs were 2"+ higher than the ground, and the tub walls was high, making it very tenuous getting out while wet. I heard at least 3 people during my stay injured themselves getting out, with 1 elderly person getting a broken nose. On top of the power being out for 2 nights, no water for 2 nights, cold water for 6 out of 7 days, housekeeping only charged our bed sheets 3 out of 7 nights...
Now I know a family that went a month before us and had none of our issues. And I'm hearing more and more about how much better the experience is there during off seasons vs high when we went (Christmas).
Still, I took joy wherever I could. The beach is fantastic, waitstaff is awesome, and I got some much needed rest and break.
