Bro, this is such a good video. I’m pissed, this needs to pop off in the algorithm! Flight of the Navigator is one of my favorite films as a kid as well. You did work on this one, great job!
Thank you, I really appreciate it! Like the movie, this video will apparently be tucked within a niche of those who truly love it...I think I'm good with that. The music is awesome! Wait until you hear this beat I am working on...
Thanks! The beat is coming along nicely... sampled just about everything, including the parts on Life After the Navigator. Our childhood was radical, haha
You are welcome! I had no idea how much they marketed this movie when it came out, having first seen it on Disney, in the 80's. It is definitely a gem that holds up throughout the years, regardless of the time period. Thanks for watching!
It was such a wonderful surprise when I heard about the 4k remaster of this movie. And they actually did a great job with it, which is often not the case with 80s movies. Even better was that I came across a copy that was further enhanced by a fan and it looks so sharp and clean but not that waxy, smooth AI look. It just looks like it was shot on a modern camera. And yeah... I've had the soundtrack for a long time. I was blasting it on my PA at my rehearsal studio a few weeks ago. This is the next movie my 12 year old nephew will be watching with me. Pretty sure he's gonna dig it. Thanks for the video. I have the Synclavier V from Arturia. I'm not a great key player (primarily drummer and guitarist) but gonna see if I can find those sounds Alan used.
My pleasure. UVI has a version of Synclavier, but it is not the same. I haven't tried Arturia's yet, but now that we are digging into their ecosystem, I don't imagine it will be long before getting the V Collection. It certainly helps to have something developed by the manufacturer, and there are a few patches in Analog Lab, but I would definitely like to try it out using the KeyLab. It is awesome to get people in on this movie, and its availability is now within reach for most, with it being on Disney. I don't think I ever watched it or even saw a DVD of it. They really knew what they were doing with the graphics, sound, and the story telling...all the right ingredients
Thanks, man! 🫡 This movie definitely has that magic. Lil Tussinn fell in love with it like I did and has already seen it multiple times. Wait until you hear this beat, haha 🦾
Salute 🫡 @VIRAL BEATS Wassup my brother just now swiping the clock ⏰ shift is starting. Will watch the rewind just wanted to holla @ you. Have a great weekend.
This movie IS my childhood.

After Captain Disillusion's video about the film
This was kind of like an Alex Ball video 😎
Thanks! Of course it would be a lot different with the equipment, but the hardware is very elusive. What a great synth!
@@VIRALBEATS360 I actually love the soundtrack, including the dated sound. It's perfect the way it is.
