Here in Brazil, there is not this type of language learning in all schools. mainly more humble schools, like in other countries that have a “second language”. People have to take extracurricular courses if they want to learn English fluently. And Gabriel never intended to go to AGT so he didn't see the need to learn English. Now he takes English classes, but learning to fluency is not so quick. But he is on the right path, which God has reserved for him for sure. 🙏🏻 (my English here is actually from a translator 😂) obrigada pelo carinho pelo Gabriel. Aqui no Brasil, não tem esse tipo de aprendizado em línguas em todas as escolas. principalmente escolas mais humildes, como em outros países que tem uma “segunda língua”. Hello, beautiful couple! I missed you, so glad you’re back! I agree with you. Speaking English is really necessary for his career because now he’s more well know internationally. It would be so amazing to hear him speaking basic English, just enough for him convey his thoughts properly. English is THE internationally language. My mother enrolled me in an English school when I was about 8 years old. But I had to stop when I went to college and also worked, so I'm not fluent yet. I am able to travel to a country that speaks English and communicate, I can manage on my own. But I still stop to look for the words to speak. And yes, only 5% of Brazilians speak English , 1% fluently as well as almost 10 million Brazilians are illiterate

Here English is part of the school curriculum, but at school we don't even learn the basics. Some people, singers and celebrities speak fluently because they invested money in the best English teachers, and also, as sometimes the method is bad, some people go on exchange programs to really be able to speak fluently! We do understand the basics, just as Gabriel was already understanding a lot of what Jennifer was saying, but he is afraid of saying things and making mistakes, do you understand? Yes, there was more than this edited clip. Jennifer Hudson gave a full introduction, then Gabriel sang the entire song, then a longer interview. Gabriel absolutely looks and sounds amazing, the megastar he is, just beaming, plus so humble and charming at the same time! He also looked and sounded amazing during the Christmas concert at that grand setting in Romania, even though he was ill. I LOVE that Jennifer praised his voice so affirmatively, expressing it as the voice she would want to use to bring any message into the world. I hope that stimulates a flow of collaborations with other amazing musicians and excellent song writers to work with Gabriel. I would also love to see Gabriel sing and be interviewed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, as both those shows have good interviewers and award-winning bands. Songs in English, from American pop culture are by far not the only thing he sings; he is a Brazilian gospel singer. I see nothing wrong with Gabriel having a translator - if I had his talent and looks, I'd tell the entire world to learn Portuguese. And of course, the AGT stage, along with any other "reality" tv show is best used as a platform, just as Jennifer Hudson did herself. Those shows are about drama, not talent. Here in Brazil, there is not this type of language learning in all schools. mainly more humble schools, like in other countries that have a “second language”. People have to take extracurricular courses if they want to learn English fluently. And Gabriel never intended to go to AGT so he didn't see the need to learn English. Now he takes English classes, but learning to fluency is not so quick. But he is on the right path, which God has reserved for him for sure. 🙏🏻

Hello, beautiful couple! I missed you, so glad you’re back! I agree with you. Speaking English is really necessary for his career because now he’s more well know internationally. It would be so amazing to hear him speaking basic English, just enough for him convey his thoughts properly. English is THE internationally language. My mother enrolled me in an English school when I was about 8 years old. But I had to stop when I went to college and also worked, so I'm not fluent yet. I am able to travel to a country that speaks English and communicate, I can manage on my own. But I still stop to look for the words to speak. And yes, only 5% of Brazilians speak English , 1% fluently as well as almost 10 million Brazilians are illiterate

Yes! Brazil is a beautiful and rich country, but it has never invested in its citizens since childhood at school. Unfortunately.
Here English is part of the school curriculum, but at school we don't even learn the basics. Some people, singers and celebrities speak fluently because they invested money in the best English teachers, and also, as sometimes the method is bad, some people go on exchange programs to really be able to speak fluently! Yes, there was more than this edited clip. Jennifer Hudson gave a full introduction, then Gabriel sang the entire song, then a longer interview. Gabriel absolutely looks and sounds amazing, the megastar he is, just beaming, plus so humble and charming at the same time! He also looked and sounded amazing during the Christmas concert at that grand setting in Romania, even though he was ill. I LOVE that Jennifer praised his voice so affirmatively, expressing it as the voice she would want to use to bring any message into the world. I hope that stimulates a flow of collaborations with other amazing musicians and excellent song writers to work with Gabriel.
I would also love to see Gabriel sing and be interviewed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, as both those shows have good interviewers and award-winning bands. Songs in English, from American pop culture are by far not the only thing he sings; he is a Brazilian gospel singer. I see nothing wrong with Gabriel having a translator - if I had his talent and looks, I'd tell the entire world to learn Portuguese. And of course, the AGT stage, along with any other "reality" tv show is best used as a platform, just as Jennifer Hudson did herself. Those shows are about drama, not talent. Honestly, I'm not sad that GH didn't win AGT. I wonder what kind of contract would be made between him and Mr. Simon Cowel. We, Brazilians who know him well, know that Gabriel would never leave his roots well founded by his family. And the very competitive music market, especially in an international career linked to AGT, could bring many clashes with Gabriel's essence. I'm happy that, in any case, he had a good projection and from then on he will be able to pursue his career the way he dreams and desires.
