I don’t think a HC needs to call the actual play, he’s just gotta say on the headset “Zach I wanna see Saquon get the ball here” or “Vic let’s go man coverage here I think”… “let’s go for it on this 4th down Jalen” ect…. His situational decisions are what he’s getting paid for or seeing what’s actually working outside of the structures of the Offense and Defense. For example Moore was putting them in shotgun a lot of the first half. I’m sure Siriani said something about “let’s get the run game rolling no matter what they can’t stop it.” And a lot of under center the second half… again a 10000 foot view of the game as a HC is cool as long as that coach makes good decisions… knowing the right idea and giving your talented coordinators an objective is good

The problem with MVP is the word 'valuable' - quarterbacks will always be more valuable than any other position. Perhaps they should change it to "Player of the Year" like in English soccer, that way it will open up the award to ALL positions not just the most valuable position.

I don’t think a HC needs to call the actual play, he’s just gotta say on the headset “Zach I wanna see Saquon get the ball here” or “Vic let’s go man coverage here I think”… “let’s go for it on this 4th down Jalen” ect…. His situational decisions are what he’s getting paid for or seeing what’s actually working outside of the structures of the Offense and Defense. For example Moore was putting them in shotgun a lot of the first half. I’m sure Siriani said something about “let’s get the run game rolling no matter what they can’t stop it.” And a lot of under center the second half… again a 10000 foot view of the game as a HC is cool as long as that coach makes good decisions… knowing the right idea and giving your talented coordinators an objective is good

If you cheat with too many guys up in the box to stop it, then they just hit you with big plays with those receivers. Agreed on the Washington offense. This is 3 of the last 4 weeks that they have not been able to move the ball very well. Especially this week and last week. If a team has a couple stud pass rushers, they can completely ruin this offense. Nick Wright says just wait till later in the season, every Kingsbury offense loses its ability to move the ball.
