- One of my new 5 must drive places list - Baler Casiguran Road
The beautiful scenery of the Baler Bay and Philippine Sea. Video start from Baler Aurora up to Dipaculao. This is part 1 of the entire Aurora - Quirino - Isabela Province Joyride. The roads were excellent except for minor road works along Dipaculao like bridge installation but surely you will enjoy a leisure drive along this route. There are water spillways along this route and it is not new since it is a coastal road. I wonder how dangerous it is to pass here during typhoons...

Sobrang namiss ko man din ang aurora lake... Since 1985 to 1991 din kaming nanirahan dyan sa Dinalungan, at lumikas kami ng Dibacung,nung 1988 dahil sa dumami na ang NPA sa Dinalungan, dahil my oder na ang hukbong sandatahang lakas ng pilipinas na lisanin na namin ang ang brgy. Bulo. At mga tirahan naming gawa sa good lumber at nepa ang mga atip at ang mga alaga kong manok ay naiwanan na doon. Apat na araw pa lang ung pangatlong anak namin buahat nung isilang ay pinilit naming mailikas. At sa limang anak namin. Apat sa kanila ay sa aurora, naisilang. at ang bunso namin ay sa makati na! Shout out nga pala sa mga magaganda naming kumare dyan na sina Mareng Babeth G.Gonzales, ky Mareng Maritess E. Palma, ky Pareng Rudy Mendoza, at sa marami pang iba na wala na dyan sa aurora!
I was born in Baler Aurora, now living in Australia and promise to go back there next year.....hopefully covid19 will soon be over........

We went to baler late 2019, got breakfast at around 9 before driving , the views were so amazing - especially the part where there's an uphill section with tons of foliage giving you glimpses of the sun and the ocean. It was picturesque, I seriously have dreams about going there again cause the drive was so awesome - the sea seriously glittered like diamonds from the way the sun hit it. Waves were smashing and the color of water was "clear blue". Hassle lang yung mountain part papunta ng Quirino/Isabela, you really need something with a lot of torque, some parts parang 20 degrees incline planes. I'd recommend to do the drive until the end of dinadiawan, then exit baler towards nueva ecija again.
1997 was the first time I went to Casiguran...sa cabanatuan 4AM ang alis noon, tapos either via maria Aurora o pantabangan dam...makakarating kasa baler around 10 to 11 AM....tapos pag dumeretso ka sa casiguran...makakarating ka around 5 to 6 PM....ang dami pang bangin noon at 25 river crossing pa un noon....Sa passenger jeep sa Cabanatuan nagtaka ako kung bakit may manifest pa, nililista ang pangalan, akala mo ferry boat manifest, un pala sabi ng conductor pag nalaglag ang jeep sa bangin, para madali malaman ang namatay...hehe.. Minsan umalis kami sa manila ng lunes...inabutan kami ng bagyo sa daan...sa dami ng river crossing at baha kaya stranded...nakarating kami sa casiguran sabado....one week kami sa kalsada...halos damu na kinakain namin kasi wala kang pagbilhan sa gitna ng jungle eh.......GANUN KA PETMALU DYAN NOON...hehe

year 70"s nagtrabaho ako diyan sa dinalungan doong sa mining company na black sand ang mine site naming ay malapit sa paanan ng bondok at casiguran sea wala pang ganyan road angroad na dinadaanan manin ay road ng logging co.

Moré kudos! These road trip blogs are quite impressive. As retired PACD/DILG now in USA may we suggest that the roadsides all be planted with coconut/palm trees for tourist attractions. Some parts are prettier than others because of the trees. Hawaii is filled with more tourists because of the palm trees by its roadsides. Couldn’t our home country follow suit?

dmitrivalencia sulit ang pagkalaplos ng pwet ko sa upuan ng motor sa mahigit na pitong oras na byahe mula manila. kahit saan ka mapalingon busog na busog puso at mata mo. Haaayyyy babalik kami ulit dyan!

yup malinis na karamihan may iilan pa inaayos. recently may landslides lang after ko dumaan due to bad weather
Ganda Jan sa baler
Last Oct 2016 i did the Cordon (my hometown) - Quirino - Dinadiawan road. Then recently Manila to Dinadiawan with that route. It was a joy to drive! Planning to do upto Casiguran/Dilasag someday.
And if the Ilagan - Divilacan road that wpuld be awesome because you can now access the coastal towns of Isabela.

Been there way back 2011 sira pa ang daanan sakit sa katawan casiguran, dilasag at dinapigue rough road. All the way but the view is worth it

Third Gutz ako din almost 8years since umalis ako sa Aurora then nong namatay ung bf ko I decided na bumalik na dito sa aklan to move on pero di pa ganyan ung road I'm so happy for the improvement

URVAN ba un? its a 1998 Toyota Hi Ace Grandia J.. 5L 3.0 engine...
kung 1998 hi ace yun makes sense dahil majority ng mga van sold during the 90's are way underpowered this video proved it even at 1.5x speed :)
