- Dino’s Tinker Shed, S4, Ep10, How to replace the DR650 front brake switch
In this episode, I will show you how to replace a front brake switch on the Suzuki DR650. This is an easy project that I believe anyone can do and it will save you money by doing it yourself. The switch is around $30.00 Canadian and is available from your Suzuki dealer.

Dino these short and sharp videos are good, as a contrast to longer format videos. Hope to see a riding video trip with Karl sometime in the not too distant future.
Hola Dino, glad to see a new video from you and winter is over where you are, so get the bike out and enjoy life!
Hey Dino! Great video again. Thanks for helping us like the part we hate the most about wrenching haha 😂. Ride safe and send our regards to Karl!😄🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♀️🐿️
That is a useful tip on the brake switch. Very logical test method you used for determining where the problem was. Thankyou Dino.
Thanks Mal glad you enjoyed it.

another good one thanks dino.
Not a job I've had to do thankfully Dino. Happy third birthday btw. Time flies when you're having fun hey! Thanks for all your work. Mark
So handy having a electrical trouble light!
So dangerous on a bike with a faulty brake light 😱
I see so many riders down shifting or just rolling off for long stretches without covering the brake lever 😱
Those switches are a problem , had the same problem on my bandit and my dr650, glad to see it looks like they have upgraded the switch 🎉, thanks for the video Dino.
Thank you for the feedback, always helps out to have others chime in

Hello. I live in Tbilisi. I also have a Suzuki dr 650, it was made in 2014. Although the engine is hot, the cooling radiator does not heat up well. Is it just as bad for you to heat up? Or do I have some kind of problem? maybe you know about this?
Nice video! Thanks. I put in a bulb that intentionally flashes once when brakes are applied. I think that it draws some extra attention.
Very cool, sounds like a good mod for sure.
Do you have any idea how to set the blinkers as a hazard light (all four blinkers blinking)?
I have not but I have been getting some questions on how to do it. I'll have to look into the method.
Thanks for the question
