The bat was hot and stopped to cool off, never experienced that heat on his own before. Love all these kind empaths serving all LIFE. Amen. Thank you to all, I did cat rescue of feral cats for thirteen years. I'm too old and disabled to do it anymore. Miss it so much, can you tell? Now in CA they have to come out and help pets as pets are now considered "part of the family". Cool, huh.

Opossum. A marsupial like a Koala Bear they have babies in their pouch like a kangaroo. Very friendly/harmless.

Your brain is just taking up space, isn't it? 🤦‍♂They're *not* going to release that opossum. *No* wild animal rescue group will release a blind animal--they can't fend for themselves. They're usually cared for the rest of their lives, or euthanised if other injuries or illnesses are making them suffer.

Don't forget he is nocturnal. Let him be the baby he is. Let him sleep all day and teach him flying not when good for you but necessary for him to build up his cones and rods in his eyes. That's why if you watch video he is having trouble seeing in the light, his rods need to be built up. Hope you get this message. A baby nocturnal, please respect that.

I think the Opossum was hit by a car, that's why the eyes are in the condition they are, pushed out when truck ran over it's head probably for male fun, anyone else would have helped it not harmed it.

You are very critical…leaving him on the ground means he could have been killed by a dog, cat or fox. Not everyone knows the fire department will return the bird…and btw they don’t everywhere. Yes, the parents would have fed him, but he’s a lot safer not by himself on the ground. She called a rescue which was the right thing to do.
