Thanks. I can't say i have any usual drum setup. Ive been using a lot of 80s drum samples recently. Don't remember what i used on the intro/end track but the other track is qy10 for everything. That's in my tracks play list, if you want to check it out. The other track is on streaming.
Looks like a lot of fun! Quite jealous to see the people you bumped into too... maybe I'll make it next year. I have an OpSix, by the way. Lovely little thing, light as a feather and a joy to program, despite the slightly limited display size. There's really not all that much menu-diving, and I've made a few good sounds on it.
As it was Sheffield the home of The Human League, nice Travelogue. Glad you enjoyed yourself. The only let down for me was that I didn't find the venue to be that disability friendly. There were too many people inside the Roland Room at the time I was there. The door way was quite narrow, I just about squoze through with my mobility scooter but gave up trying to get to the Juno-X. I had more success in the Korg room and walked off with a Modwave (well, I did pay for it). It sounds like you had as good a time as I did, it was great to see people I've only ever seen on youtube and have a good old natter. I enjoyed it more than 2019 and I hope 2023 will eclipse this year's meet. Now I know who you are perhaps I'll bump into you next year? Thanks for posting and take care.
Hi, sorry to hear you had problems with access. I think I saw you towards the beginning of the event. I'll be sure to say hello next time. Yes, I was very tempted by the korg gear but didn't try the modwave sadly. Thanks for leaving a comment!
@@RunningonairMusic No, I just fancied it - and I'm now working remotely for the same company I was working for in Fareham :) Scotland's great - I've not regretted it once!
This is great! I really like your backing music as well. What do you usually use for your drum sounds? They’re fantastic!

Yes, I did like the look of that.
Cheers! I had a ticket but couldn't get there on the day. Watching this was a great alternative!
Glad you enjoyed it!

This was fun, I am not sure what else you make but I subscribed and will find out.
Thanks! I hope you find more stuff you like.
Nice!
Thanks!
interesting, I'm off Saturday it will be my first synthfest.
Great. Hope you enjoy it!
Yamaha needs to step up their game. They made some amazing stuff in the 90s
Yeah, they've dropped right off the radar from my pov.
Yamaha fm synthesis 😢. every one is always going to the analog sounding stuff
well, each to their own, I guess.
You're in Winchester? My old area - I lived in Southampton from 1986 until last year when I moved to Aberdeenshire :)
Yes, that's right. That's quite a move. Work related?

Interesting. I used to live in Glasgow in the 90s. Never got as far north as Aberdeen though.
