i used to work for a rubber company and had access to pure sulpher. a bit of that set fire to in a greenhouse killed everything. ( even the rats under the paving slabs ). lol.......................brian
If you notice I have hot box vaporisers hanging in my greenhouse . I use neat sulphur powder in these and they help to keep insects and disease out of the greenhouse . But you are right sulphur will kill everything including your plants if used in sufficient quantity and set on fire. Those hot box heaters have a built in thermostat to stop them over heating, which vaporises the sulphur and does not harm the plant but suppresses disease and kills insects . But you must leave the greenhouse when switched on.
