Hi Michael thanks for your comment. You might find the video linked below helpful too. You could run an automation and add a condition that the light sensor would be under X value. I hope that helps. th-cam.com/video/ObPCtztcyN4/w-d-xo.html
Ive been looking at building a motion sensor maybe I will use ESPHome it looks very easy. There could be a chance that the USB cable was not working but I assume you tried another USB cable I find it strange that your keyboard and mouse were working and not your ESP flasher. I noticed that the text seems to be very pixelated on screen. What screen recorder are you using?
For the error yaml there is no restart needed . Just create the device then press the magic button called F5 and all is well no error. It is a small bug...
Just managed to get my first wemos pir sensor up and running in HA thanks to your excellent tutorial. Keep up the great work & many thanks.
That heart wrenching moment when you have the same WiFi network name
Great minds Mike 🤣
wish you would have shown how its connected to the esp chip
Hi, I am waiting for some Automation examples. Like: Pir sensor detect motion and turn light only if dark (detected by light sensor)
