I like the way you planned out your workflow. You put in some good work here. And you have some beautiful music to show for your efforts :) Thank you for sharing... subscribed.
I have a doubt. watching the video I see a cable coming out of the "send" of the tascam, the signal goes through the pedals... but, where does the "output" signal from the zoom pedal go? For an interface? I'm trying to learn how to use effect pedals on my tascam, ... i need a little help here :)
I recently got one of these however it didn't come with the original power supply? Are you using the original power supply? Or just a 12v that matches the rigs power supply specs?
Hey man, so if I understand correctly you can't just have a master in and send that to different channels, you have to plug in the input into another channel each time you want to record a separate channel? I have a 424 on the way and want to make sure I get the workflow right. Cool stuff!
I got a minilogue also, it's great! We just finished a concept album recorded on the Tascam 488 Portastudio. It's alt-folk style music with some experimental sounds like tape loops, musical saw, synths, field recordings, etc. It's uploaded on our channel if you want to check it out!
I am still trying to get over how you placed the tape in its case...masterful!
Thought I was listening to the Twin Peaks OST there was a sec, man.
Very Angelo Badalamenti in the vibes.
Which is an awesome thing!
Love this 👍🏼
This is inspiring and has me hopeful that I can create my own tape loops soon.
Incredibly beautiful stuff. You really nailed the audio aesthetic that tape loops can offer up.
Love the pedals. The 424 is my fav 4track.
Really nice. I love the way you pitch shifted the chords.
The track turned out really great! Always love seeing other people's tape loop processes!
This is so nice. Very inspiring.
Great tutorial man!! Sounded lovely, kinda reminded me of the music in Twin Peaks for some reason... awesome :-)
Yep he may not have realized it but he 100% stumbled into the OST there for a sec at the beginning 😁
Really great man. Love the extra speed control on the 424!
Quel son ! C'est magnifique.
Beautiful work

Amazing...
Great infos. Thanks for posting this.
so cool. neat sounds and aesthetics. everything works so well together
Have you got the pedals chained? Is there a way to have a an individual pedal to an individual track so each track is using a different pedal?
Just got around to watching this. So amazing
Beautiful! Keep up the amazing work!
I love this tutorial, so useful
Really interesting, thank you!
excellent stuff 👍
wonderful and helpful! a question : how did you route your effects?
sorry if this is a dumb question - but why did you place the foil there?
Thank you for the nice ideas!
this is an old video so not sure if you will reply but what do you use to record all the audio coming out of the tascam and pedals?
Awesome
Also thus ===
Also now I regret selling my blues driver. Is this up on streaming?
when you playback the tape, are you recording your headphone monitor feed from the tascam? theres hardly any noise !
this is beautyful
This is awesome man! Subbed!!

from 6:40 I thought I was watching a Twin Peaks episode
Haha, you’re the second comment I found thinking this.
Glad I’m not alone 😁
awesome, what synth is that?
Great vid
What cassette did you use? Just bought a 4-track and don’t know what cassette to get.
I just bought the 424 and the recommended tape is a 60 or 90min maxell high bias
How do I clear a used cassette tape with the tascam 424? I don’t wanna use a new one to cut a loop from
Just record on all 4 tracks to erase them.
Nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice.
Nice.
I'm in awe. This is so beautiful.
What synth is that?
koeg i think the monologue
impression as if immersed in sound

rookie move, always splice tape diagonally.
Well, 45* angle cut is what it should be to easily splice it without hastle, but you don’t *have* to, it is a bit easier that way, however.
