Magnesium hydroxide Mg2(HO) decomposes to MgO + H2O above 350c. And magnesium oxide has many more uses. one of which is cement. Of which I find magnesium oxide and fused silica to be interesting. Robert Mury Smith did a video "all about magnesium oxide cements"

Your video is so complicated! If you want to make sulphuric acid, do electrolysis of a strong copper sulphate solution with a platinum coated electrode at 5V 4.5 amps. Then afterwards concentrate the acid
by heating and boiling off the water until you see white smoke then stop. You are left with conc Sulphuric acid.

Im trying to make a similar solution for copper plating bullets but i havent used miralax. I didnt make my own copper sulfate since i didnt know how and never looked into it, but the plating is very thin and flakes off so im just going to dump a bunch of copper sulfate into it and some salt and use thicker copper plates since the pipe i used before is now all gone and basically dissolves into the solution in an hour or less. Ive been avoiding acid to minimize safety concerns plus this seems to be how other people are doing it anyways

This is a great vid but just to note. There is nothing wrong with the CuSO4 crystals people buy, how do you think that are made? If you want to say your CuSO4 is so pure, put a number on it. Just to be clear, your copper was filthy, you used a flower pot and standard plastic tub, so how pure is your CuSO4 exactly.

If you need higher voltage and current? I bought from EBay a few dc to dc boost converter. From 18 volt battery I can take to a maximum output of around 80 volts and 20 amps. I bought 2 units and bridge them to get high output with less heat on converter. Great for reviving my dewalt cordless batteries!

Not one bit. It actually helps keep your solution cleaner. All copper pipe in USA has phosphorus in it & I only use it and it works great. When you’re done with your piece just clean the copper as usual and use it again if there is any copper left. The black holds the copper like together to help it not fall to the bottom of the tank. Get it from Home Depot of Lowe’s.

Fill a pot with water - the side will soon become wet - the wet surface makes it conductive if the liquid conducts electricity.

You also need to realize that electricity can be punched through several mediums you would normally think were unable to conduct electricity and that’s the way we need to think of it. Insulators have a rating basically they will stop a certain amount of energy before the energy will find it way through. For instance you could do the same reaction he is doing here inside of a condom instead of a clay pot. In this scenario moisture wouldn’t explain why the electricity can pass through it. Just know that you can force electricity through the wall of an “insulator” if it’s thin enough and your current is right.
