I loved them all, my mom's second husband would be driving to North Las Vegas if he saw that 65 Datsun 320, he was a Datsun truck collector but he didn't just collect the trucks, he had a couple cars too, he worked at a Datsun dealership when he was in high school in the mid 60's and fell in love with them.
@@Americanrodshop Yeah I have no idea what happened to them when he passed, he and mom divorced 10 years before that and he had no family although he had gotten remarried he had no kids and his only sister passed away years before that so I have no idea.
The days are long in N. Michigan in June, late again! Been fishing, I regret nothing! Favs: Black '71 F100 Ranger and ... 55 Ford F100, and the last one, the Ford stealth camper box truck!
Hey Solon, love you're old truck videos! here in Canada 4x4's are a must for winter, but old 4x4's are as cool it gets ! if you find any please post, i am sure there would be a lot of interest up here. thanks !
I love my Concept Car! Made my day, Thanks! Those old pickups are awesome, brought back a bunch of memories. I agree with you on the ‘59 Ford. The red '59 Dodge looks pretty good, too. Keep up the excellent work, brother!
I think this week I’d have to choose the 63 Chevy long bed. They did a nice job with the interior as well as the body. I think I’d try and whittle the price down a bit though.
Favorite is the 30 Ford. In 72 I bought a 11:12 53 Ford panel for $50. Didn't have to do a thing to it bought it off of a friend. Unfortunately due to my job at the time I was given less than one day to pack up and move to a different state so I sold the truck back to the friend for $50.
Hate that happened! The same thing kinda happened to me! I bought a 1956 Ford pickup just before I got divorced. I paid $500 for it and because I needed the money, I ended up selling it for $800 after the divorce!
I like the Internatioal. Dodge looks like the pickup in the TV series Resident Alien. I love the old pickups but would like one with overdrive so it can go on the highway.
As a die hard Ford fan, it’s really disappointing when someone installs a Chevy engine in a Ford. I know, I know…Chevy parts are cheap and plentiful but isn’t the reason one keeps a Ford power plant in their Ford is keeping it in the family….and showing that you’re true to the model.
I still haven't received it yet, but if you will when you get it ready to sell send me the pics and info to americanrodshop@yahoo.com and I will be glad to showcase it!
The Datsun Pickup is Real rare in Conn, I owned a 65 pickup back in early 80, Bought it for 200 buck Great work truck, The Datsun your Showing is In great Restorable Condition, But They need a Newer style Motor, Mine was weak 4 cylinder. Put a Toyota motor, It would be a Great Pickup
So my made by AI, would be a 1970 Chevy Corvette UTE. The Opposite of a Mullet. All fun up front. The Vet. All the business of an El Camino in the rear. lol! (maybe even as 4 door?)
@@Americanrodshop Thanks, Sir! It's only cause I'm a bit more of a Chevy guy. But Hell, you could do a Mustang/Ranchero if you wanted? Like when I was a kid, I told my Dad I wanted to put our 1962 VW Bus, on top of a COE Freightliner's frame, and running gear. He said the bus was to thin, so I drew a picture of what I wanted, with 8" added right down the middle. Even had 1 new 6" windshield, so 3 front windshields and everything. Dad called me years later, in 1992, and said he saw my dream truck. It's a Peterbilt 372, and Harley Davidson has a fleet of them! If you squint they look a little like our old bus. lol!
I was at a all ford show at our local drag strip last weekend, saw a s 10 there with a small block ford engine in it , wonder how Chevy guy's like that, shoe is on the other foot.
The 1930 Ford Resto-mod , is Nice But the roof is wide open, If it rains I,m going to get Soaked. Plexiglass if done right would be better, Not for Nothing that was a dumb design.
I really like the 1965 International pick up my family had a 65 Travel all when I was a kid and we loved it vey dependable and lots of room for a family of 8
Not really a ford guy, but that 30 ford has some potential .... I would rip out the engine and put a small block v8 in it ... but otherwise that is a jewel. The 63 Chevy is pretty slick, though the long bed throws me off. The Rat Rod, is cool, but a bit too pricey for my budget. The Datsun is a novelty ... kind of fun, but not something I would invest any money in (my mom used to call Datuns DAt - son of a Bitch) .... I really like the 51 Ford panel truck too ... I am a purist, and think fords should be powered by fords, chevy by chevy and mopar by mopar ... so I couldn't buy it.
@@Americanrodshop I was out east last winter,,easier to catch ur live shows,,back home in west now,,they come on to early in day for me to catch,,but I watch em in the evening here in oregon
Thanks everybody for watching tonight!
Always a pleasure seeing what's out there
We need more of those kind of videos, great old vehicles!,, affordable prices.

Nice! Not many original Datsun owners still around and the vehicles are getting rarer!

I'd take that Datsun pick-up, a friend of mine had one in high school and it was a cool little truck.
Hello Solon love the IH pickup. Already sold though

That 30 Ford Restomod is my pick. Would definitely need to shoehorn a V8 into this truck
Good pick Don! I agree on that V8!

Love my '63 F100 262 strong 6 3 tree. Philco AM and Ash tray. Baby blue faded and seeing a little primer on corners.

I love the Ford f100 ranger
It was nice!
I like the classic Ford Ranger truck if it has an lnline 6 cylinder engine in it.

@@shirleyrichard-qv9lw not really as I own a ‘75 F-100, 360 mildly built, lowered and a family treasure.
I got a 82 bronco that I'm converting to a v-10, 1 ton.
