It annoys me about how Midorima's crazy skill and strength isn't called into play. He could be the best player in the team in the future. He can hit a full court shot like a regular one, hits 10 3s on a bad day, throwing a basketball across a court takes crazy amounts of strength, throwing it as high and far as he does, he can go toe to toe on kagami on defense, and he's just a fundamentally good player too.
Midorima only shoots when he thinks he can make them so if he's guarded well enough, he'll just be any other player out there. Basketball is a team game. If someone just latches on Midorima exclusively as Kagami did, his insane advantage is practically nullified. In any one-on-one, he's the weakest of the five. I think Kise is the best player given his Perfect Copy but his stamina severely limits himself so he couldn't play for so long.

He is a shooter and he doesnt miss if he is not guarded that's it. #2 Akashi is a insanely good point guard: but seirin surpassed him (and he was the best in his Position after Midorima ofc), #3 Murasakibara as a Center is a monster (they needed Kagami in zone+Teppei and he was not even in zone), #4 Kise (copy ability is insanely usefull but his lack of stamina make him weaker than Murasakibara, they still had to beat him with kagami in zone), #5 Aomine (He is a monster but he didnt train enough, kagami in zone was able to outskill him while he was in the zone, Kagami was not even that good back then). In the Future (hypotetical), Kise will be the strongest close with Midorima and Murasakibara, i dont think Aomine and Akashi can follow these monsters.
He can shoot from anywhere with that one form, but he only has one form. Once you have sommeone who can jump as high and reach Midorima...it becomes kinda hard for Midorima to shine. Range isnt everything. Jumpei can quickly run back to avoid a block, Mibuchi has three unique shooting styles and can make a four point play. Shooting from anywhere is a nice trump card to play with the buzzer beater mindset, but if everyone knows your range is the whole court they will guard you. He needs more ways to shoot to make himself unpredictable.

This movie destroyed Kuroko No Basuke literally. Midorima's layup, Aomine's pass, Akashi without the zone, Kuroko has more point than Akashi, vivid color effect + terrible character's movement
Akashi is an as long as I win mentality and is a pg so he passes way more so it makes sense he has less pts than kuroko since kuroko isn’t guarded by nash. I agree with everything but terrible character movement, color effect and the kuroko one
