I’m also a bigger fan of the Vehicle team. I just love how it’s made of so many smaller vehicles. So cool. I got this last year, and I agree. It’s one of the best things I own, along with the Soul of Chogokin version. One thing you forgot to mention is his “butterfly” joints in his shoulders. That’s the main reason the wings on the chest can fold in so far, to accommodate his arms being able to swing forward. Also, yeah, it was really expensive on BBTS but I got it for almost $100 less by importing it from a Japanese store.
It's really cool how these toy companies can compress these massive mech designs into chiba-fied designs, and STILL give their component vehicles the ability to transform and combine into the mechs.
watching you go through the assembly sequence for this thing reminded me of the Robot Chicken sketch where this guy took so long to come together the robeast killed everyone
Used to have a tiny very rubbery version that was when combined no bigger then this one. Didn't know what the heck it was till well in my 30's. And lost so many bits so it ended up in the bin pretty quickly.
I always though that it would be interesting to see the vehicle force as a live action tv show where the crews are serving a planet of potental colinazation using the combind vehicle modes as a mother ship for betweeen systems and habitation and recharge of the smaller units. But it is only one pilots /engineers idea out of desperation to do the robot mode which it was never intended to do. But make it more a mission and less a monster of the week.
I am totally with you on this one, I also much prefer the Vehicle Force Voltron to the Lion one. But I did like the story of the cartoon of the other one, but there is more playability with the vehicles to the lions as toys.
I have the GoLion / Lion Voltron set. 110% worth it. IMHO, you can't go wrong with either set. And like the vehicle set Batl reviewed, Lion Voltron has heels. Happy Hunting!
I do love the team if it ever got a update series like the lion one has many time hope the fist turn in side to hide them one issue I always hated about this guy so cute
Its a me thing too maybe, but when I heard of Vehicle Voltron I went wtf. Still think it's an ögly clusterf-ck to this day since I never saw the series. Just the Lion Voltron for a bit. This SD V-Voltron does nothing for me, sadly enough. Given how much they ask for it... eesh.
So, is the lion force the standard Voltron that most people know? I was completely unaware of the vehicle force until this video, and I might have to pick it up as my first, and only Voltron figure.
Vehicle team is certainly less popular. It came out as basically the second season of the show. But in Japan the two series were totally unrelated. There was a third Voltron that got released as a toy, but plans for the anime to be included as a third season fell through. It was based on the Albegas robot, called “Gladiator” Voltron II over here.
@@haydenreviewscustomcombos No, the Vehicles only showed up in one episode in the background of that Netflix show. This is from the original Voltron series from the 80s.
lol the shock and sound of joy finding the heels
The Voltron vehicle team, was a cartoon that made me want to do homework instead of watch TV. But as toys go... it's not too bad.
20:13 Happiest Balt ever of all time.
Thanks for the cute SD Voltron set review!

Amazing engineering at such a small scale! The fact it's so stylized too adds to how impressive it is
This VF inspired me when it comes to courage and strength and teamwork. He was cool when I used to watch him on tv.
fucking loved it, keep doing the great work, glad you're still doing these. Is a fun ride seeing you review all this toys for many years now
"Hey Voltron! Nice kicks!" -- "Thanks! They're Vans!" (as far as I'm concerned, that joke never gets old)

Funny that Dairugger got an action figure...

🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩GREAT VIDEO as usual🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 I’ve been a VOLTRON FAN since DAY ONE ☝️ I love animating these bad boys🎬📸📺‼️‼️‼️‼️

Giant robots with dwarfism is all the new rage.

Please do the lions next! I love these little super detailed chibi super robots.
Just by seeing this i just want to go and watch Jobby the hong vehicle Voltron review

Reminds me of the SD Rikky figure from Zenkaigers.
OR slide the car feet on first and THEN turn them, this prevents finger pain
Vehicle Voltron was my favourite. Loved the whole space exploration aspect and there being a whole crew. I also think it looks better.
I have a soft spot for Vehicle Voltron/Dairugger XV because its play value is more interesting than the lions.
6:30 you have to do that for aspect accuracy.
Just how expensive was this, and yes I'm asking about the price in Australian Dollars. It looks cool but I may not have room for it
Is this the same company that made the pizza cat figures, looks like it to me. If so, quality was top notch
Which is your favorite team from Vehicle Voltron?
The sea te looks like a gummi ship
I do love the team if it ever got a update series like the lion one has many time hope the fist turn in side to hide them one issue I always hated about this guy so cute
Like this but would prefer the head to be a bit smaller. And for the price, no way, just can't do that.
Is this action toys? I wanted there vehicle and lion force figures.
how does it scale with the other SD sized action toys...?
Vehicle Voltron was always absurd to me. Way too many team members to get hurt or lost
Great review! I'm not a fan of the SD look, so it's a pass from me, but it is a great little figure from what you showed!
Also my brain does the opposite of the transformer fans who scream Truck not Monkey... Lion not truck😂

@@raydenlord Was the second season, where the vehicle themed Voltron robot was introduced, on Netflix?
Or, was it even in Voltron legendary defender? I can’t believe that show had eight seasons. Where is the eight season long transformers show?

@@raydenlord Oh. That stinks that they were relegated to background character status.
you cant tell which side goes to which side by the shapes. the roundish cars go together. the squareigh cars go together.
I like the Lion force better. I love big cats I can not lie lol
1.53 surly it’s a toaster
w Voltron
For Jack Angel
Lion 🦁 force Voltron is better
