When I was around 8 years old and having piano lessons at grade 3 or 4 level, if my piano teacher suggested me playing a piece by Mompou I was always excited - even at that age I appreciated his harmonies, rhythms and melody lines. Bravo - lovely performance!
Outstanding performance! The Cancion so tender and expressive, the Danza so full of energy and joy...and that last arpeggiated chord absolutely heavenly. My favorite Mompou played as I have always wanted to hear it. Beautiful! Thank you!
Meravellosa interpretació d'aquesta peça de F.Mompou . I Gila toca tan bé les dues parts tan contrastades emocionalment. La primera part em posa la pell de gallina i quasi ploro i la segona donen ganes de ballar.
Lo spessore melodico della canzone sul piano compositivo si presta certamente ad una interpretazione struggente. La Goldstein qui è veramente magnifica, delicatissima e intimista senza eccedere nell'autocompiacimento della malinconia. Versione più bella di quella suonata dall'autore stesso. La danza, sul piano compositivo, mi lascia tracce più epidermiche.
La música interpretada en piano sempre motivadora i abocadora cap el coneixament dels sentiments més imperceptibles que duem en el fons del nostre cor. Escoltant la música d'en F. Monpou aniria en aquest camí... ( A Gila Goldstein: Gràcies per l'interpretació).
Atrevida imitación del auténtico criollismo argentino de Julián, Aguirre (1868-1924).- Por cierto: el mismo dedicatario de la "Huella" para piano, de Aguirre: también dedica Mompou este trabajo a Arthur Rubinstein...Qué coincidencia", dirían los siempre geniales "Les Luthiers"!
