I have a caprice and looking for a heads / cam package …. How much would this this run ??

    • @AndrewMOJObook
      @AndrewMOJObook 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

Just had it done in OKC last year on my Caprice.
It cost $7K because the first place didn't finish the job and went out of business.
      2012 Caprice PPV 9C1 6.0L V8
      100K miles
      DoD Delete
      AFM detune
      Rotofab CAI
Texas Speed parts Top end rebuild
      New Cam
      New radiator
In real life it would not cost anyone else that much.
I bought it Memorial Day 2022
Finally got all the work it needed caught up Spring 2023 and drove it 1500 miles.
      It's a blast to drive.
It was a New Jersey police car, no cage, with regular backseat, doors and carpets, more like a 9C3.
Before the DOD delete (etc) it was at 340 HP.
Whoever bought it at the NJ police auction drove it 3 years.
They traded it in at a Subaru dealer in OKC where I found and reserved it within 12 hours of it hitting their car lot.
I traded in a 1980 Cadillac Eldorado with 100,000 miles for the Caprice.
It was time to let the Caddy go to a good home.
It was in excellent condition inside and out, but too big.
It was like driving a Walmart down the road.
I don't plan on ever getting rid of the Caprice.
