Most others have a much more positive experience. Another TH-camr was able to set his PUBG Mobile settings higher than you were able too, and had much better camera results. I’m really wondering if you just had a faulty unit. Predicate the video though.

Such an HONEST review.You pointed out some things that I never saw in many videos.. I am deciding to either to go with Samsung A 20 or this one. And I am comming from Note 5.
For gaming I'd pick the k20pro because of the Jack. Just grab any pair of headphones and move on, so much easier than be always charging a pair of Bluetooth ones.

Mohamed Larbi i think all these chinese brands got a low quality speakers, and personally i dont even use speakers i use headphones or bluetooth speaker when i listen to something

I really enjoy your coverage. all in all I would say it seems like a pretty good phone and for that price not bad. the cameras the rear facing camera seem pretty good it looks like you don't have to use the rear-facing camera for everything. Front facing camera no dice. that being said keep up the great work and I'll catch you on the next one have a good one.
You under estimated the Huawei Y9 prime maybe because that is cheaper than other phone that have a motorize pop up camera but since I'm a Huawei user way back year 2010 til now and I am satisfy of the product I prefer to buy this because I know this will not disappoint me

Big Crackers yeah, idk if xiaomi is better in speakers than huawei though, y9 has 4000mah so aint it the same with mi 9t. 9t has amoled while this has lcd, some people like amoled better but amoled has its own problems and huawei been making good display phones so it is good quality display while xiaomi is kinda new merch and by the review videos xiaomi screen aint that bright than some other phones that ive seen compared against it. Mi 9t has better performance due to better processor but i dont know is it worth 121€ more. Y9 is 279€ here and mi 9t is 400€

For me both front and rear cameras were not good, however, the thing that disappointed me was the speaker. I often use Internet radio and like to leave my phone on the table - in my small apartment a good phone speaker is loud enough so a good speaker is priority. My other priorities are screen (LCD or amoled both are OK for my needs) and battery life, if it is poor on any of those three priorities I will not even consider the phone. I do like Huawei phones, though pleased the Google ban is being lifted I hope they go on to put their operating system on phones and share it with Oppo and Xiaomi if rumours are correct. I think it is unhealthy and threatening that Android is such a monopoly of open operating systems. If America doesn't like (for whatever reason) a whole country/economy/company could fail and communications suffer - the world needs other than US companies. I hope Huawei soon has a operating system with apps and all Chinese phone manufacturing companies adopt it. Then there would be a strong snd viable option to Andoid and Google. However, for this phone, good looking and as cheap as it is, it does not appeal to me.
All good points Terry! This phone could have been much better if they had just focused on other things, but they went for the wow factor. It’s not a bad phone, it just not for me really as it compromises the things I value. As for the Huawei ban I completely agree I feel that more diversity in operating systems is a benefit to consumers. The latest information seems to suggest that it will be released around September. As for the price, I have no idea, but I suspect it will be around the £400/€450 mark in Europe (namely for the top end specs) given how we end up paying more for tech in this region.
But then for 200dollars... U do get what u pay for... But not for me ... Especially considering how long one keeps a phone (3 years in my case) rather a Mi 9t or pocophone f2... This phone is ok for someone who doeent care about much, and there is a market for it ...
Spurgeon Fleischer biggest difference in lcd and amoled is that amoled shows black color more pure black while it shows white color little bit yellowish. So i dont really know, y9 is good for this price tho

yeah, even my honor 8x suffers the same problem, but I checked the y9 prime 2019 in the concept store in our mall, the front cam is not that bad, but yeah, oppo/vivo or even realme, takes much better bokeh effect on portrait mode

I love the fact the some Huawei phones include headphones in the box, but i'll still save up for the 9T
