    Thank you for sharing and your review! I recently just bought this camera online as well. I don't skateboard, but I do make short films/vlogs, but I preferred a retro aesthetic when filming. I was inspired by the movie Mid 90s & an Amazon Prime documentary called Val (Val Kilmer's documentary) where I see them using camcorders a lot. I already bought some spare batteries, battery charger and a mini DV cassette tape! I can't wait to use it!

    The successor of this model, the Sony DCR-PC110 can shoot small 320x240 video clips onto a memory card, great for those cringeworthy tiktokers who don't bother to learn how to rip videos over firewire

    Hi @Brandon thank you for this video. I actually got one for myself.
    do you think it is safe to handle the camcorder by the coldshoe? I am worried the cold shoe might rip out.
    It also doesn't fit in my u-grip. What are your experiences?

    • @brandoncameracollection
      @brandoncameracollection  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have used the cold shoe handle method for years now with camcorders and dslr’s. I have had them come loose with heavier cameras but I have never had one slip out of the cold shoe. You can find more durable ones that will actually lock in place. They are a little more expensive but they will be much more solid. And the issue I have always had with the u-grip handles is they are plastic which makes the whole handle flex when you are trying to film. Which makes the footage super shaky

    Hey Brandon! I've got couple of questions as a new owner to a PC110! How many pictures or videos can I capture on a 64 MB memory stick? And could you list down every wire and adapter I would need to transfer the videos over to my computer? thank you!

    • @brandoncameracollection

      Im not sure how many videos and pictures you can store. I know video will take up the space on the card pretty quickly but you should be able to get a decent amount of pictures. I also should have links in the description of this video for converters you can use

    Dude if you want to be serious about this youtube thing I think it's high time for you to upgrade your audio, build yourself a studio (or at least better place to record. The echoing sounds terrible and will turn off plenty of people), write an actual script instead of talking on the fly and do better, more in-depth research about the product at hand.
    Look at how guys like Doug Demuro do his video. For the longest time he filmed himself with nothing but an iphone on a tripod but he managed to make a professional looking video because he did his research, follow a script and understand that people tolerate bad video quality (bad video not bad production) more than bad audio.
    Consider this a constructive criticism from a guy who just wanted to see small youtube channel to succeed and not die an early death
