Check out Sandals Resorts' best online deals and everything you want to know: mycaribbeanluxury.com/what-to-know P.S. (if on mobile device, make sure to copy/paste and open in external browser, as it doesn't show well in TH-cam's browser)

In my mind, the best you can do is the Honeymoon Beachfront Walkout Room at Negril. Talking about convenient to the objective. Among the best price points as well.

@@MrTraveLux You have easy access all day long to your own A/C, refrigerator and more importantly - your private bathroom. Proximity to everything the resort offers as well. Love the old fashioned nature of the Bistro for all day use. The bonus is that moment near sunrise when the color of the sky and the ocean merge - I call it the globe effect - doesn't last long but is really beautiful, and the evening brings the sunset. Perfect.

I appreciate the time it took to visit the various resorts and put together this video. I've been wanting to try one of Jamaican Sandals but am concerned about safety. The government released the travel advisory on how unsafe portions of Jamaica have become including sexual assaults on resort property and advises traveller's to go elsewhere, even forbidding govt employees from visiting a lot of areas of the island. How do you reconcile the safety issues & concerns for potential travel to Jamaica please? Tanks again and be safe -Rich

Hello! This is actually a great question! First, I'd say that this is challenging to give you the full picture over a TH-cam comment. Definitely drop me a message over at hello@reliantdestinations.com so we can discuss more thoroughly; I'd also love to make sure you get the best deal, top service, and all that stuff! There are a few things I can quickly outline here for you and others that might read this, though. The first thing is that many large cities in the USA have worse crime rates than Jamaica. Moreover, the same warning is given for many international tourists visiting the USA (for example, the UK warns tourists that visiting the USA comes with a high risk of terr**ist attacks and crime). So, I say the first part to show the subjectivity of such a matter. Secondly, I'd say that it really depends on where you visit as to a risk in Jamaica. This is not an island I'd recommend the average tourist to rent a car and run around themselves, but it is a different story in the resorts. In 2023, I personally assisted over 2,000 people to visit Jamaica and we didn't have a single incident. Morever, I take my family there multiple times a year - something I wouldn't do if I didn't feel safe. I also have a car in Jamaica and a large office for Reliant Destinations on the island - just across from Sandals Royal Caribbean. I drive (even in the unsafe areas), but using my general sense of caution, I have never had an issue. Are there some particularly troublesome areas on the island? Yes, most certainly there are. However, risks are about knowing where to go and where not to go. The roads to and from the airports and resorts feel very safe to me and Sandals only partners with excursions that have a stead track-record and are known for their stellar reputation. All of the areas that the US State Department says "don't travel" are not near the resorts themselves; for this reason, we have US government personnel who visit all the resorts, daily.
Don't hesitate to reach out to discuss further or secure the best value for a trip! :)

Hi! No, nearly half the rooms at Ochi are butler, so this would overflow and push SRP over capacity. So, only SRP guests are allowed over to Ochi - not the other way around. ~ Addison | hello@reliantdestinations.com
