Wonderful album. When this came out in 1977 it caught the imagination of many kids like myself who loved Tolkien and played Dungeons & Dragons. I’ve always wondered why it isn’t better known. The 1924 book by Lord Dunsany is also beautifully written and worth reading.

I came across this reading an article in a 1977 edition of Audio magazine. Christopher Lee is very cool.

Have you seen The Last Unicorn? It is based on a 1960's novel, and has Chris Lee voicing the villain King Haggard.

The name of this novel has always confused me. Surely she is simply the Princess of Elfland. :)
