So glad to see him struggle on gaius because that boss broke me a little. Playing on ng+ even with 60 vigor and 60+ all defenses, i would get 1 shot on some attacks. Commander Gaius is public enemy #1
It's not really about the weapon, the reason why you're steamrolling all bosses and skipping most of the content and experience is because you used too many scadu fragments. Yes you're supposed to use some on normal playthrough, but not every single one possible, otherwise you'll just ruin bosses.
