It's okay, Sandi. You don't always have to share every little moment with us. They're your sheep, after all, not ours. We love to watch you and them, but in the end, we're not the ones dealing with all the details that come with it. You have every right to be with them when and how you want, with no need to ever apologize.

It’s important for all of us to practice self care in 2023 - We always want ppl to be kinder to each other but we also need to prioritize being kinder to ourselves. We need to cut ourselves a little slack and silence some of the negative self talk in our heads ❣️
Silencing negative self talk is one of my New Years resolutions this year 🎉
And Linda - I totally agree.❤️🐑❤️ Sandi take all the time you need with family and friends. Dealing with a blizzard and caring for your sheep is your highest priority. All this right after the lambing. We all wait patiently for your next upload.🌨☃️❤️
I totally agree that taking care of yourself (and family) first brings good health overall. That's the problem these days: everyone is in a hurry to go nowhere. Eventually, it catches up to you. In Sandi's case, it doesn't help having all the responsibilities fall upon your shoulders because of the nasty winter storms. When you farm animals, someone always has to be there; nothing can be 'rescheduled.' That's why I've been praying so much for her.

I don’t know if you’ll see this but I think the majority of us watch you because we love you. We love what you do and how you take care of your flock. If things get a little repetitive it’s OKAY I for one would watch if you did the same exact thing every time, it’s just knowing that your ok, your flock is ok, that everything is ok. I also like to see what kind of weather your getting. It’s just you Ms. Sandi, for me your the pull to your channel. Your like a friend I like to check up on and know things are going hopefully well for you. I like to see how happy you get when the kids come home, your always smiling even though your sad sometimes. Sandi, I can't speak for anyone else. For me, you don't need to worry about changing things to stay entertaining. For me, this is a little dose of peace and happiness in a dark time. Watching the lamb-nadoes lets me forget about all the terrible things happening in the world for a little while, and I'm happy with whatever you post. Don't stress yourself. For a moment, it is like being a kid again, and watching over and enjoying all the pigs, calves, foals, puppies, kittens and occasional kids that I raised. I wasn't big on the goats, but I enjoyed all the others. I always wanted sheep, and my stepfather, the pig farmer, wouldn't let me have them because "sheep stink." When you stop laughing over that one, just remember you are letting me vicariously enjoy something I always wanted to do. I'm sorry you have had such a rough holiday this year. That storm was no joke. We didn't get much snow in Kentucky, but it was colder than it has been since 1978. Now we are getting floods, after a whole year of drought. That said, I'm grateful for the rain. We desperately needed it.

She sure has hung in there! I just want to scoop her up, cuddle her close, and nap with her! Plus the fact that all of the lambs have grown so much in just a few days! It's unbelievable how fast time flies!

I've been following Sandi for years now, maybe even from the very beginning. Thousands of others have been doing this as well. I think it's safe to say we're not all here just to see new content. We're here to check in with what feels like extended family. That's the kind of connection that only Sandi can create. Like Cammy says, she's a legend.

My prayers were answered! Those winter storms were record- breaking, as I've never seen anything like that before! The radars for the Ontario area were literally jammed with blizzard-like conditions, and I was concerned about people being stranded (like Carissa). I'm just thankful for everyone's safety through that mess!
So thankful for cell phone reception! People may be stuck, but they're not Isolated!
Little Lucy the sextuplet is so sweet following you around and playing with Lucy the dog! She definitely thinks that you're her mother!

Oh boy, Carla! As a disabled RN, my life is so boring compared to Sandi's! She makes me smile, giggle, concerned, sad, and all the emotions that make my existence so much better! She is a caring, loving, considerate, and kind woman who would do anything for someone else (I know this even though I've never met her in person!). Going back through old videos attests that Sandi is real and has never changed. My hat is off to her!

Sandy, I love the "routine", it's never really the same anyway. You're successful because you let us into real life, not fake created content.

As far as keeping it fresh, it’s a Farm! Things happen all the time. I love watching you figuring out how to fix things. How to get things done. What happens with the “poops I didn’t expect that” and then you get to work and deal with it. You may be brokenhearted, you may be overjoyed, but it does not interfere with getting the work done. I love how you love the animals and you care about them. Combined with realism of life on a farm. It’s not always sweet and easy. There’s hard truths that must be faced, and dealt with. I love rooting for the underdogs, that may or may not survive. Being sad at those that don’t, and holding dear are the ones that do. The fact that it’s because of your attention and your care that they survive at all. Constantly trying to improve. Sometimes finding that the improvement is not so much an improvement but going backwards, or not all that is claimed to be. Finding what works for you. At the same time you make it plain that it works for you and maybe not for someone else. Your program discourages people such as myself that have no business going into ranching or farming, the way it should be. I have a hard but not the skill in the experience. I can live through you. (Also I’m 75, the energy needed is not all there)
A million times this! I often sit and muse over the Brocks, and ALL the farm workers, who are able to get stuff DONE - plumbing, electrical, mechanical, medical... they wear so many hats to get thru a day, and I am so grateful for all I've learned about this life by watching these videos! ❤️
I've been called "a Jill of all trades," because I've worked every field of nursing, plus can do just about anything that Sandi and Mark do on the farm. I can do construction, shingle/hot tar roofing, electrical, plumbing, rebuild engines/transmissions, paint/body, and the list continues. If you live far away from town, you must learn to cope with an emergency when it arises. You can just deal with it later. Procrastination can be deadly on a farm, especially when livestock and crops are at risk. I admire Sandi's bravery and stamina!

@@susanturcotte3176 , isn’t it wonderful, to have done so many things. While you’re doing it, when you’re living it, it doesn’t seem like that much. I too have done a few things, but I am also 75 years old. I don’t think I’m done yet. The adventure of it all. I do have my trade, as an architectural draftsman, cadoperator, civil drafting, mechanical drafting. I worked for a company that specialize in construction on a military base. I’ve done hazmat, irrigation, post office, training facilities (C130 for jump Traing), implosion buildings, warehouse, anything that’s on the military base I have done. I’ve worked as a mate on a 74’ part boat, dug ditches, asphalt worker, i’ve worked as a migrant worker [(The hardest job to get for a non-professional white woman) The problem is it’s a painful, unpleasant, long hours, hazardous, work, requiring skill and knowledge. You just can’t hire anyone to work in the fields. unskilled labor will kill plants, unripe vegetables and fruits will be pack it reducing quality, and if you do not do it right you could also remove one of your fingers.] and I’ve done a few other jobs, it’s been wonderful, but when I die, all my knowledge dies with me.

When you talked about the monotony of farming, I want you to know that we fell in love with you! As a person, you shine and have a giuniune quality that is rare to find these days. At least I can say that no matter how many times you film 'the same old things,' it makes my day! You are unique and caring; there is only one Sandi Brock!
The bottle babies and our cutie pie are growing like weeds in a garden! It is astonishing the difference a few days make. As far as the little one, perhaps she will go onto the machine if you keep backing away while she's drinking. Kind of like weaning her off of you..? Might be worth a shot. She is a cuddly cutie pie that makes you want to scoop her up onto your lap!
I was so sorry that Billy's brother was sick. I know that it was so difficult to have to euthanize him. However, after the tears and trauma, it was the right thing to do. Even I had to do it with several pets through the years. My heart is with you, Sandi. All of us are there with you!

When I see that much snow, I'm so grateful that I live in a place that doesn't snow in winter. It looks full on. So glad you took a few days off filming, good to see that little lamb so active.
Living in a place where we used to get snow every winter, but not anymore, I felt a little jealous seeing the white wonderland..
There is nothing stopping you from keeping the tree up all year long and just redecorating it depending on the season. For example, heart's for Valentine's Day, you could do Christmas in July or any other holiday you wish. One of the kindergarten teachers that I worked with did this, and I thought it was really cool having the tree up all year.
I grew up with our tree up year around and have done it with my own kids.
Now that they're grown, I do it for me!
I have boxes for each month or season depending.
But it would just be extra work for Sandi and I think it helps her mark time in the barn.

When you raise animals and are humane you become immediately invested. Having to let one go over the bridge … it never stops being heartbreaking.

I love that you took some time for yourself and your family. Please don't change anything about your videos, they are perfect just the way they are. I am sorry to hear you lost Billy's Brother. I had a feeling things weren't great with him when you had to start treating him. However, that little bottle baby is a bright spot and something special. Not sure if breeding her will be a great idea, but I sure hope she doesn't go to market. You and your flock are a bright spot in my day. Thank you for being who you are.
All of the aspects are hard for us who fall in love with specific lambs.
I know Sandi does the best with "all of the aspects" too.

@Alice Cain I understand all the aspects as I was raised on a farm and grew our own beef and rabbits. I also showed those rabbits and cattle and knew what the end result would be. Our moto was we don't name the food. If you got a name it was hard to see you go, but it happened anyway. We rarely harvested something with a name for ourselves. There were some very special ones that became "pets" in retirement. I get what she is doing and has to do for her business. Try being 9 years old and selling a steer you raised for the last 10 months knowing he is headed for someone's plate. I totally get it. I love watching her as it reminds me of what I used to do and miss regularly.
I love watching the little lambs chase each other around. I also loved hearing the powdery snow crunch under your feet!
Sandi, I just love you! Love your family, your sheep, your dogs, your farm. Thank you for sharing it all with us. Sorry about Billies brother. With all of life's joy, there is also sorrow. It's the joy we need to focus on.

I dont know how long I have been watching, but I have been through several lambings and it never gets old! so dont worry about the content as the story is alway different with each lamb that arrives, some more special than others of course, the little Nugget as she should be called is a true champion survivor when you see what she came into the world with 5 other siblings that didnt make it, that is amazing enough on its own. Whoopie its 23 is my new year motto! we all survived the last couple roller coaster years and this year feels special Happy New Year everyone

What I love about ewe’s giving birth is that little gurgle they do when the babies are born. So much love from the momma ewes. It warms my heart to see their interaction. We had it too right b4 Christmas. The other half was so busy trying to keep us plowed out, helping neighbors plow out plus keeping the sheep and other animals fed watered and sheltered somewhat. Plus we lost power for several days. Thanking God he bought whole house generator over year ago. But we survived.
I’m always sad when Christmas is over… I spend the days afterwards slowly putting all the decorations away and then do a deep clean around the house to start off the new year.
Little Lucky Lucy is a talker! It will be interesting to see her development when she and her friends join the second bottle babies. Jess & Kinsey, perfect post-Christmas Christmas card!
Help I'm getting sheep ads now lol. You are so awesome sandi and you're doing a great job! That blizzard was horrible and at the worst time. I didn't get to see my family for Christmas

I'm so sorry for your loss of Billy's brother. I know that hurt but you did everything possible and sometimes it's just time, whether from age or illness. My cat, Precious, went to The Rainbow Bridge on the 30th. My vet and I are confident she got every day from her hourglass. We'll see them all again one day. 💔🌈❤️
I'm sorry to hear this. It's always so hard when that time comes for our fur-babies. As I sit here watching my 17 year old dog as she just keeps on keeping on. 💔

I share your sadness with the removal of the decorations and tree, same struggle here, although there’s no blizzard or massive snow storm to report. My heartfelt condolences on the sad loss of sweet Billy’s Brother.
