In this video I play the nation of Austria in EU4 trying to hold my ground and all the areas of Europe that I had conquered. In the last video I revoked the privileges' of the Empire and had a huge vassal swarm ready to fight.
This time Prussia and Netherlands want blood versus us and it will be very hard to survive.

Living in an EU4 MP Masters country would be both heaven and hell.
Heaven because the economy and general quality of life seems great during peace time with all that deving and building.
Abd hell because once per decade the entire population gets mobilized to die over 5 provinces and a couple hundred ducats.

nah unironically ever since I started binging these videos I've been thinking about how in multiplayer we see like Napoleonic-sized wars in the early 1500s and it only gets more intense from there. super interesting to imagine what alternate history that'd be like, even if ofc real life doesnt work like a video game

Just witnessed your rant about buildings.
A nice thought experiment would be to do 2 separate sp games where in one you bank money on game start and just expand, whilst in the other you use the money on buildings 'n stuff and see in which game you acquire the most money.(I'm well aware that this doesn't account for manpower stacking and all other bonuses)
in SP expansion works because AIs are cheap and easy to kill. In MP, you can easily blow 50k on 5 provinces in a late 1500s war. Absolutism etc help you get another 15 provinces post-1600, which is why he makes the point that you don't need to rush (rush early to grab AI land, but feel free to settle in afterwards)

What map mod is this?
Wonder if an "improve vassals mod" exist that allow you to "lead" your vassals to choose some ideas we will have a new option that allow you to asked your vassal to pick military ideas, economic ideas or useless diplomatic ideas.
Sure will be broken if you could choose vassals ideas so that why I prefer to said "set" if you want a military/money printer/diplo vassal

think about it right, imagine if you actually had 1 million men and the enemy army had 500k men and you met in a field. the side with the 1 million men would be able to fully surround the enemy and force their surrender right? so theyd probably lose the whole army?

with these amounts it'd be more like trench warfare, also no one is getting surrounded cos of forts/ defensive terrain. But you can argue about how it'd be irl, but fact of the matter is that it is quite gamey, especially if paradox hasn't explained how it works.

@@alexanderenfloristijburg8211 thats not what im talking about. im saying a pitched battle as seen in this time period but with hundreds of thousands of men on either side.
Neither is eu4 properly simulating pincer movements, nor is 2:1 a sufficient ratio for an offensive in modern war to completely wipe out your enemy.

Habibi if you can get local autonomy down to a certain point would it be op to use trading companies in multiplayer?
Starting as Khmer or Majapahit you gain access to the Buddha diety as a Hindu nation, allowing access to both reduces autonomy Great projects -25% total, form America and go full expansionist for another -20% and do the correct government reforms for -10% you’re down to 35% minimum autonomy before buildings and economic hegemony (with those I believe 0% in territories is actually possible). Would this be a viable strategy in mp?
No, nobody competent would let you do all that. They’d kill you before you could achieve half of that

The only part that would be very difficult would be getting the doab monument for the -15% but even without it 50% autonomy may make trading companies worth in mp
@@andrew2715 why would anyone let you exodus successfully? Unless there’s artificial rules that make it easy people would kill you while you’re doing the exodus or one of the big colonizers would crush you

Yea, we look at a lot of user and viewer saves on my discord and biggest mistake I always see is a huge lack of buildings. They will have some but not as much as they should have

This is why I don't like MP mods and games, they just devolve into blobbing and sweatlording man..and I love how he thinks we don't Dev and build in singleplayer..
No I don’t think all singleplayer players don’t dev or build. My rant started as someone saying that devving and building is not worth in single player as you can spend your points and money on other things. And I’ve never seen anyone dev 4000 times in a single player campaign which I have seen in a vanilla multiplayer game.
Something also you do in multiplayer you don’t really do in single player is state almost everything, I use trade companies way more in my single player campaigns
