Watch the next episode of 'Wardens' here: • Wardens: Mercy Kill & ...
In this episode:
Montana game wardens are looking for poachers and those not hunting within the law, all with a little help from full size decoys and local citizens calling in to the TIP-MONT hotline and game wardens try and track down a potential poacher who took a deer out of season. Then, we'll follow another warden as he takes his son hunting when his son draws a hard to come by moose tag.
When your job is protecting our most precious natural resources in some of the nation’s most remote areas, there is rarely a dull moment. Wardens chronicles the lives of Conservation Officers in America. The show features the men and women who protect public lands, from ride-alongs on interstate game checks, to anti-poaching sting operations; from remote snowmobile trails in grizzly bear country, to unforgiving white-water rapids. While the focus of Wardens is enforcement of regulations, the show takes special precautions to ensure the general public understand those who would violate the rules are the minority and the vast majority of encounters with our Wardens are law-abiding citizens.

Young man you are lucky to have your father. He is lucky to have you. That's the good stuff. Great bull .
Super moose young man. Did he make 60”?
Nothing better than seeing a dad and son enjoying a hunt together!!
I love that y’all caught that on video for him… what a special moment to have with his dad!
A real father son moment. Love to see it have a great day everyone.
That moose hunt is exactly what hunting is all about! Really enjoyed coming along on that hunt.
Seeing this young man get that moose makes the work and sweat worth it all now congrats
That hunt will live happily in their hearts and minds forever now... absolutely beautiful
Great job Zach. Enjoy every moment you can with your dad . I remember my first hut with my father and lord knows I’d give anything to just have one more hunt with him.
❤ I shed a tear of joy for Zach. I would be elated with pride to be father. What great hunter that young man is becoming. Kudos Zach!🎉
Koodo to you two ! It's great to see young men with his dad hunting . Best Luke for your next aventure in the wild places .
This was awesome, but esp the father/son moment of making memories n bonding!!!❤️❤️❤️
Thank you to all game wardens who protect and preserve wildlife but with all due respect the decoy trap won’t work all the time a veteran hunter will soon figure it out
Thanks for the report but wardens are still no good and I standby what I said
Its not supposed to work all the time
Thank god the dude from Wisconsin didn’t make us look bad
congrats to the kid, but you know his dad was jealous. Good to see them do it together
The lad worked a long time for that shot. For some reason, he sure seems happy about it all....
That’s what is wrong with the poachers and road hunters. They don’t want to put in the time. So they should do time.
Way To Go Zach 👊🏻💥💥 Great Moose!! Congratulations To You…
Poor anarchists. They get all mad and stuff when they are caught. Lmao.
I was elk hunting in CO years ago on public land when another hunter came into our camp to ask if we could help him drag out an elk. What he didn't mention was that he shot it on private land. A hunter in our party volunterred, and they dragged it out. The next day, a warden came into our camp to investigate, and we all denied having anything to do with it. What we didn't know is that he already knew by examining our boot prints. He pointed out the hunter in our party who helped drag it out. The guy didn't get into any trouble, but he found out quickly that sometimes it doesn't pay to be a good Samaritan.
It was not educational to the guy that knows he was doing wrong before he did it , he's just sorry he got caught.
How convenient a game wardens son draws a moose tag .lol
That’s a beautiful shiras! Congrats
Well for starters wardens , you need to know the caliber of a 357 slug and it ain’t a 30 caliber it’s actually a 36 caliber
P
@@PatMcCauley-dy9xznope 357 mag is actually 38 caliber.
@@jack.489 You can also shoot the 38 Super semi auto cartridge in some 357-38 revolvers ,but not all. Add this to the useless information file.
No it’s actually a .38
If you argue that .357 Magnum is anything but .357 caliber, you are both ignorant and dogmatic.
I noticed that warden and boy didn't rush over to tag their moose immediately upon kill.
Why aren't the wardens wearing orange walking around in the woods while big game gun season is in?
Because the feel they are above the law...........after all.....the make up the laws as they go !
They don't want to been seen u idiot
Duh why do cop use unmarked cars so they do intrapment 😂
That word doesnt mean what you think it means
@@Hicklifecountrytellidieeverything the game warden does is legal the game wardens have a lot more power then cops game wardens don’t need search warrants for anything
Yaay Zach nice job!
Lol my guy has some dash lights on I'm guessing lots of eletrical tape on the cluster :D.
A million bucks says those guys with the .357 cleaned that pistol so it didn’t appear to be recently fired and replaced all the rounds with new rounds from a new box.
They need to modify the Elk Decoy so that it can do things like rear up on its back legs like a horse or buck like a wild Bronco. Maybe even put a saddle on it. Just to make passerby's freak out. LOL!
What a magnificent bull. Congratulations👍👍
Those guys in the scrap truck pulled a fast one I believe,I don’t believe in coincidences.
Great job zack
Make sure you are using blaze orange when shooting from the roadway. If you wear blaze orange and the bullet ricochets the bullet will stop in its tracks, and turn in another direction to ensure that it won't fly back and hit you. 👍👍💯
.... I hope u know im kidding
Montana Fish&Wildlife should be rolling in the dough ,and definitely no one should be hungry, and all new trucks, just sayin'
Dispatcher still learning how to read lmao
That deputy needs to keep his hand off his pistol. Yung Buck getting buck fever
Take note! Clean your pistol after you poach a deer! Thanks for the heads up guys! Way to educate poachers!!!
Those guys with the junk trailer and pistol definitely killed that deer
Sounds like someone was jelous those guys tagged out
Get a swab from each person's hand and tell em your gonna check for GSR Residue, bet they would have caved.
A .357 is a thirty caliber? I thought it was considered a 38 caliber. Same bullet diameter as a 38 Special. See what you can learn from our Game Wardens.
Uhhhh.....both .357 and .38 start with which number?.....it's a 30 something caliber
The young lad at the end, about to put a 3rd round in the moose, turns and faces his dad with the barrel pointing straight at him, I'd like to think off camera someone had a word??
Isn't baiting illegal? Putting out a mechanical decoy trying to bait in some revenue
Im sure its Just a coincidence the wardens son drew a moose tag haha
Youre an idiot
No . All you gotta do is apply. And wait for priority. We all get them if we apply lo
Hunter orange is like a seatbelt= revenue collection is all it is.
Education an option in your area ? Why didn’t you at least give it a try ?
He might be one of them guys that make "sound shots" and don't bother to look for other hunters @@DodgeCharger-d8z
If hunters orange is so necessary then why do states like Idaho have such low accidental shooting rates, but don’t require hunters orange? Unfortunately, it’s one of the fastest growing states and attracts massive amounts of hunters each year.
@@ponderosaoutdoors comon guys you know why the orange is mandatory….it’s not for safety , it’s for being spotted by game authorities in the field ….no matter where you go ‘’’there you are ‘’’
note to self, dont road hunt! dont sit behind the decoy!
They have hobbits working for the sheriff department 😝
25:43 why is there so much Black Tape on the tach/spedo??? covering up what?
Trying to hide the fact that he's going 100 mph?
Half of the cars driving by also have 357 in their rigs.....its bear country
My fav ? to people I arrested , after they'd say " It's my first time!"
My response, "What? Getting caught?" Them,
" Yes..... huh? I mean...um...uh, ..."
Dumb arses...😅
Our ungulate decoys in California are wired to wag their tails...wait...that sounds, er...ummm....😮😊
there are always a cheeshead..
Game wardens are always lucky and win the tag lotteries
GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INOCENT!
Nobody was convicted of anything. Some got tickets and have the choice to go to court of not. Others were let go.
@FDReal when will you upload railroad Alaska remaining seasons
I completely.agree with these folks getting fined and losing their hunting privelidges, but,.isnt this entrapment?
I love watching Warden Golie and his tight Wrangler buns swaying side to side. I could watch him walk on a treadmill all day.
Investigate to find facts, not to soothe your fragile ego. You should not be disappointed when a person is being honest. This is one of the many reasons for the divide between law enforcement and citizens that pay their check.
Whoever picks the titles needs to lay off the gummies
He knew what he was doing was wrong so therefore the law is useless.
That sure looks like a bullet hole in the moose’s left antler.
I thought that at first, but if you watch the video you can see it looks more like damage. That whole is a giant split. Start at 40:58.
Write tickets for no orange 5 feet from the truck what BS!
Calling that a road is definitely stretching the truth of the matter
This is kinda crazy to me, get caught shooting a deer from the road here in GA and you'll go to jail...as you should..down here they will impound your truck, take the gun you used to poach...I didn't know that other places only write 100$ ticket..
pot pipe, lol
What has this to do with cheeseheads?
The hunters with the trailer were from Wisconsin
.357 isn’t 30 caliber
Your right its a 38
Yankees
The civil war is over and we won. You should be glad that they even call northerners red necks. ... Not me I'm a northern country boy. No Redneck..
Civil war is over and we won...
Censorship we won.
If you can’t catch someone breaking the law, you create entrapment scenarios to catch someone, pretty poor display of professionalism.
Take it you have been caught !
@@AngeloA-pp7gq ha ha. I have been a LEO officer in Texas for 31 years and have seen it all. This is straight up entrapment, and we don’t use this technique
Nobody is forcing them to shoot or break the law…you dont understand “entrapment”
Entrapment is defined as a situation in which a normally law-abiding individual is induced into committing a criminal act they otherwise would not have committed because of overbearing harassment, fraud, flattery or threats made by an official police source.
Been a LEO in Michigan and Ohio. This is not entrapment. Been to Supreme Court.
That’s entrapment using a decoy
Police use decoy cars to lure thieves into stealing them. It's the exact same concept and totally legal
Sounds like Montana is a Hunt and take state...like NC..... you got the cash..tour good to go
That is entrapment !
What part? Putting out a decoy?
You might need to read the definition of ''entrapment''. Nobody made them shoot at the decoy, they chose to. If they walked off the road and shot it nothing would come of it. They shot onto private property And shot from the road. Both are illegal and they were not forced or lead to do either.
Glad this Internet genius knows more than professionals
How could you kill such a majestic animal as that moose . I used to hunt now I see the beauty of such creatures and get much more satisfaction out of photographing them . The photo lasts forever and the animals live on ! Better.
That's cool. Keep taking your pictures and I'm sure he'll keep hunting. In the grand scheme no one cares what you do, so don't flatter yourself thinking your opinion matters. We live and we die that's the cycle of life. Outside of that, ride in your lane and let others ride in theirs.
I ate the last photo of a moose and I was still hungry.
They tasty bro
With a rifle, weren't you watching the video???🤡
A picture doesn’t feed a family of four for a winter,get a grip.
IAM A KINDA LAW ABIDIN CITIZEN'. BUT ENTICIN THE PUBLIC IS WRONG LIFE IS HARD ENOUGH AS IT IS.
Poachers are just selfish greedy idiots , why can't people just follow the law when it comes to hunting. I don't care if you want to break the law in most other areas , just not when your hunting.
Everyone knows you get one free one for camp meat
I get it but seeing a majestic animal living their best life only to get hit by a couple bullets is hard to watch.
I loved this show untill I thought about it for a few minutes. The entire show is a scare tactic and will reach a lot of people to make them scared to exercise their rights to hunt.
The entrapment stings I have a love-hate relationship with. while I like the fact they are catching guys, at the same time they are stopping guys that have done nothing wrong. Not all this episode, but others. I'm no expert but, It is a 4th amendment violation to allow searches of anything. keep your mouths shut, even if you have messed up. although I do not belive these tools have. Take all the offenders to jail that brake the law...however there is a difference between a TV show and your job. As tax payers we all expect everyone to follow the rules. There are agenst that are out for retribution from past lives and there are that are our for wildlife retribution. Even then there should be some consideration. however.......anyone ho lies would be taken to jail for a minum of a month. MINUMUM.
100 % Entrapment
1,000% not. Educate yourself
Wardens are not your friend .Don't talk to them they only approach you to write tickets.fact.
Whay did you do to get a ticket?
I had a rabbit box trap in my garden and I didn't have my name tag on the box trap .never knew that I had to put my name on a box trap on my own property.cost 220.00 fine
That looks so fake. What idiot would shoot that
Decoys are entrapment.
😂😂🤡🤡🤡🤡
Or maybe there just wasn't anything done wrong but of course yall claim everyone is a criminal until proven innocent which is exactly opposite of how it should be
What's wrong with these wardens? A .357 is .357 caliber. Not .30. Of all the cartridge's to get wrong, .357 is the worst because it is what it's called. Ironically, dozens of so-called .38, .380 and 9mm cartridges actually use .357 inch bullets. Simply stated, most .357 diameter bullets are not .357 S and W Magnum, but all .357 S and W Magnum cartridges shoot .357 diameter bullets.
I like hunting but you might as well go to the zoo
Harrasment on The out of state hunters
Screw your decoy that's bull rap to charge someone for enticing them to shoot something and then charge them for shooting regardless
Warden Brian G is a perfect example of an arrogant little man using his badge to feel big! That being said......I do appreciate & respect what wardens do to protect & serve
357 is NOT 30 caliber
It’s 38 caliber.
Did they maybe reload it and that's why one bullet looked different .
You know they make rifles chambered in 357 right
I used to hunt when I was 15 or 16 but I lost the zest for it because I started to fall I love with animals and wild life and I just didn't have the heart to kill anther animal. But it's nice to see son and father having something in common which they can enjoy together.
Why are they so soft on these poachers? What's wrong with Montana.
The word "Entrapment" springs to mind here.
It's actually more dangerous being a game Warden because your dealing with people with high powered rifles.
Oh good grief 😂
