Wow, that was quick work on a Friday evening, Mikael - time well spent, I would say! So cool that you already got one runner completed. I'm sure you will have the other one equipped with a new chassis in no time at all. Hope to see this re-born Tamiya running soon. Wishing you a lovely evening and a smashing weekend, my mate! 😎👍
Thank you, Mark! Yeah, I get surprised how much one can do with one little evening - when not filming everything 😊 I will work on my old one first. The one that needs a complete rebuild will be the last. Feels great working on the DF-02 again. So many good memories. Wishing you a lovely and smashing weekend too my good mate! Hope you will get some RC time
Thank you Bob! Yeah, Got all the parts. The other Gravel Hound will actually be returned to a Rising Storm, which it originally was. The Riding Storm in this video will get transformed to something else 😊
Comes with metal diff gears and internal metal ball bearings, but with plastic bushings for the wheels. In comparison the TT-02B that replaced the DF-02 comes with plastic diffs and full plastic bushings.
Nice Job. I bought Rising Storm this year too. Fortunately, nothing was broken, but maybe I'll buy one chassis in stock👍 . Do you know PS code for that orange color on Rising Storm?
Hi Milos! Nice! It’s a great looking buggy. The other Gravel Hound in this video was born as a Rising Storm and will be returned to it. The chassis a cheap and available at Tamico if you’re located in Europe. Just bought one. Uhh, been wondering about the same since I need to paint a wing. My best guess is that it is the PS-24 … neon orange … but not sure at all …

It's nice that the chassis has a torque tube for the stripe shaft it's totally encompassed.
Yeah, but a totally pain when it comes to maintenance 😅
Awesome my friend, made 1 from 2, I'm sure you can fix the Rising Storm (I like that body better). So not a total loss, if it works. Great job!!!!!

Nice bro
Thanks my friend!
They're still using the DFO threes or the DFO chassis on various on road cars I know that I would like to have one of these buggies on these chassis.
It’s actually been a while since the last DF-03 model I believe
Does this chassis have full bearings cuz I would be worried about that.

And thank you, bro!
Is that a coin as a spring retainer?
I think so. Or a spacer. Very creative by the former owner. Reminds me of repairs in the 1980s with hot glue and meccano 😅👍🏻
I was confused I thought one of the gravel hounds had a wider body than the other gravel hound.
Nah, the same. Must be the camera angles.
