Use FLEX in almost all my tracks in some way, basslines, synths, pianos, guitar, winds or strings, FLEX got it ✊🏼

@@neonn8876 they do mix and master… I’ve watched for years lmfao they are fully capable of leveling the sounds. It doesn’t even have to do with the mix of the beat. They just need to adjust the mic volume and PC volume of what they are recording..

add kicks when the 808 hits
Max velocity, max out the volume knob and soft clipper on the 808 channel
its becuase of the synth bass on the loop as well it makes the bass frequencies clash and distorts them like that. i think so anyway I ain't a profesional
Old comment but I find the free diablo plugin quite useful which really helps with 808's and drums although most times I just need to turn up velocity.

@Benjamin Franklin It's rarley used now and people keep saying it was an overused genre that sounded the same. If you listen to a lot of underground music you would know what I mean, but It kind of branched out into subgenres mainly the beats YEAT uses which is like a dark rage sound same heavy saw synth and crazy leads just drums are different

Go into piano roll and look at where your tools are (pencil, paintbrush, etc.) and there's a small arrow next to the wrench icon. Once you click it you will see multiple options. Click on the ~View tab~, and you will see more sections. On the 4th section down which is the Helpers section, you will see ~Note grid highlights~ and ~Scale Highlighting~ if you click on scale highlighting you can choose the root note and the scale. For this tutorial he chose the ~Minor Natural (Aeolian Scale)~ and the root note of ~A~. Hope this helps. :)
