If you the type of player that always runs and jumps a lot, this shoe is for you, plus it feels more comfortable setting your foot for a jumper i dunno why, but every time your pulling up for a jumper the curve of the shoe feels nice
Thanks Sammy. I watched your review, when you posted it, I picked a pair up today at a Nike outlet for $44.99. Was a no brainer at that price..I couldn't believe it when i saw the price. Seems like lots of ppl sleeping on this cuz even at that price the shelf was full from top to bottom.
Been using this for over 6 months and probably the only shoe to last me this long while providing consistent grip during speed stops and quick direction changes, def would buy this again cause it just has a bit of springy but responsiveness to and you cant forget the lockdown the lockdown is soo good not once have i rolled my ankles

Sammy after all these years, why the tractions that were made for outdoors perfoms well indoors. Which leads me to believe that the compound/hardness of rubber made for outdoors is the thing that affects the grip of the traction. This is apparent on Chinese brands if you think about it
Should have been nice but that two piece outsole made it bad. That heel part would detach not for long starting from the middle due to hard stops. One piece outsole would always last twice as long on my experience. Why don't they just rerelease the gt 1s and make a ton of it if they making these trash decoupled outsoles anyway. Would sell out no matter how many🤷
Academy are good budget shoe for teams (coaches) who can't afford GTC3 or Kobes! My son (4th Grade) has the LBXXI and refuses to wear them casually and hoops in them "carefully" because he saw the price tag during Christmas, lol! Although, he has 3 pair of Way of Wades and those aren't cheap due to shipping. Nonetheless, another good review!
I really like the Sabrina’s comfort, flexibility and traction. It is just an overall good shoe that I think fits all feet. However, the durability can become a little bit of an issue later on but overall great shoe. Haven’t tried the gt cut academy tho
The traction is just too good. You could hurt yourself if you're not used to it. The shoe is great for players who like to play uptempo, small guards who like to wreak havoc.
Bro the ja 1 are really ass like for real they ain't that good. On the other hand gt academy giving competition to gt cut 3 is phenomenal for a budget shoe. So my preference go for gt cut academy it's a clear win
To keep it simple the Ja is better but for like 40 dollars cheaper it’s close enough that you should probably go academy especially if u like the aesthetic and if u play a lot outdoor

I got these and they feel really good traction is amazing just gotta wipe once or twice on dusty courts but overall this shoe is really good id definitely recommend these
@@iguessso214 ye both better i tried both but i love jas because the cushion is not bad it doesnt hurt the support is good because the lockdown like a socks super tight and traction top tier even there soap on floor it will work but its so high on the ground im a dribble lover so i want to feel my foot get down on floor faster.
Considering Nike is the standard for true to size fit why are you saying that you go up half a size in all your Nike Fitz so what does that mean exactly when everybody else uses Nike as true to size because you’re just being different for the sake of being different and this causes confusion in your reviews
No reviewers ever say Nike run small. The industry standard of TTS is Nike. Sure Nike get it wrong occasionally but every reviewer refer to Nike as TTS, and occasionally put Adidas as 0.5 too long. For non wide foooters this is 100% the case.

Na going up .5 is correct, every Nike shoe fits tight. Nobody crowned Nike as the standard for sizing, that just what you choose to do.
