Regarding renew, i've read a few different places that lunarlon was basically "rebranded" as renew (or at least very very similar) as they looked to push React. I think similar to "Boost/Bounce" keeping similar naming structures so budget minded people feel the affinity to the cheaper tech
I think you nailed it when you say "for me it's better because it's more complete"
You really have to be a type of player to like the GT Cut 3. However you are that type it's like they were made for you
Renew + Lunarlon + big chunky Forefoot zoom? Why isn't this kind of setup in other budget models? Sounds excellent. I don't like the design and the material thickness on the upper, however if these cushion would be implemented in the precision line or the fly by line.... Oh, my goodness!

I play in these and I cannot find anything I don’t like about them. They are cushiony, and the grip is incredible on an indoor clean court. Lots of squeaking. My shot seems to have improved as well for some reason.

You honestly feel like you are faster and can jump higher. I am 56 and need all the help from a shoe that it can give in order to keep up with the younger players.

Is the gt cut academy good for flat footer?
Since there is no shank in the GT Cut Academy... would the performance be better with the carbon fibre insoles(VKTRY) and act as a shank for the shoe?
Would you say that a thumbs width at the edge of the shoe is the right way to gauge fit?
Would gameday pro insoles save the no shank setup??

In any case, you can extend the shock absorption system with an orthopedic insole. And also its durability.

The zoom freak 5 fits kind of narrow but the traction is amazing, lockdown is also pretty great. I haven’t gotten the GT cut yet but I heard they’re good

What’s better for pg, 182cm, 70kg: nxxt gens, ja 1, freak 5, sabrina 1 or gt cut academy? I need an awesome traction, light weight and solid jumping (cushion), because I’m training dunking. Actually, I have kd 15 and want to have better and more performance shoes

If ur looking for crazy lightweight and a decent cushioning + consistent traction id say gt cut academy

Bro witness 8 and lebron 21 just came out so not anytime soon but nothing can be said about kd 17 and jump 3 cause the jump 2 and kd 16 were already really good.

Do you have any thoughts on why Nike is making performance shoes without shanks or with weak shanks? Other than a handful of models, Nike has just avoided adding cost with shanks. Also, do you think PE versions do have shanks? I can't see Giannis playing in shoes without shanks.
Possibly they anticipate people putting in insoles and taking out the stock insole.

One take 4's heel is literally a brick. So I guess, academy is much better, I haven't tried yet.
