I've been thinking about how many years I can play the guitar from now after my 60th birthday.I have come up with the idea of challenging myself to play songs that I have never played, could not play, or gave up on (regardless of the outcome).
Today, as the first piece, I will play Handel's Sarabande. This piece is familiar to classical guitar fans, and it is also famous in recent years for being the motif of "Nausicaä Requiem," a song inserted into the movie "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. (Tohru Ogawa)
私こと、還暦を過ぎてこの先何年ギターを演奏できるかと考えたところ、「幾多ある今までに弾かなかった曲、弾けなかった曲、諦めた曲に(結果はどうあれ)チャレンジしよう」と思い至りました。本日は第一弾として、ヘンデルのサラバンドを演奏します。クラシックギターファンにはお馴染みの曲ですが、近年では「風の谷のナウシカ」の挿入曲「ナウシカ・レクイエム」のモチーフになった(らしい)ことでも有名です。（小川透）
