Congrats on the new family ride! There's a few things in my life I said I'd never do, and one of those things is I'm never buying a mini van 😅 But they are convenient , especially with a family, any time I drive anything other than the mk7, a little piece of my soul cries 🤣

Thanks! In terms of add-on - there's not really a choice because Toyota allocates each vehicle with accessories of their choosing. I would go for the soft-tex leather on the XLE and above trims to keep the interior easier to clean. Otherwise, can't go wrong with dual sliding doors! The rear entertainment system can be pricey and a cheaper solution might be ipads. It all depends on if Toyota adds these accessories to your Sienna!

I just got my 25AE last week, find out that the backup camera doesn't have dynamic grid lines (the yellow line that moves when you turn the wheels), a little bit disappointed, does your 25 AE also has no dynamic grid lines?
Nope unfortunately no dynamic lines on our rvc as well!
Congratulations on your new vehicle! I noticed you opted only for the Rear Entertainment but I noticed the 1500W inverter is available in your car. Is this coming by default in the 25th Anniversary trim? I have booked a 2WD 25th Anniversary with Rear Entertainment but dealer is saying the 1500W inverter does not come with this vehicle.
Thanks! Yeah we also have the 1500w inverter along with the RES. From my understanding the rear entertainment system is completely separate from the inverter option. It was supposed to be standard on all 25AE according to the original newsroom article. However there are some people who did not have it equipped - however i'm not sure about their production date. For our January 2023 production date - we have it.
@@ilimit Good to know. I tried to check the customization option on Toyota website but it did not show the 1500W inverter option and only option available was the RES. Waiting to hear from the dealership on the delivery date. :-)

I am sorry to ask you so many questions but I am surprised that your dealer didnt mark up the msrp price! I went to a few toyota dealership and they kept telling me there is mark up becux the shortage of chips😢 your A1 is in connecticut? We might drive over there from ny to your dealership 😮💨

Thanks for this! how do you find this drives vs. an XLE? And why is AWD a must have? If you are in a temperate climate, and don't get any snow, but maybe go for a ski trip or to snow once every couple years, you still think awd necessary or snow tires ok? And why no spare tire?
I am offered a 25th FWD with entertainment system (no digital rear view mirror), spare tire. Heard entertainment system blocks view from normal rear view mirror, and i don't use entertainment system at all (ipads better). So wondering if I accept or pass on this one.... issue is the dealer might not get another 25th for a while... offered MSRP + 2k mark up. Any thoughts appreciated
Hello, here's my quick take on the drive between the XSE vs the XLE. I haven't driven the XLE but test drove the LE twice. I find the XSE with 18" rims perfect for my driving preference. I had low expectations going in - coming from a lowered vehicle and compact size. But the XSE suspension felt just right in my opinion vs the LE/XLE/Limited/Platinum trims. So for your situation with the 25AE in FWD, it might feel a bit more harsh vs the plush ride in the other trims.
It really depends on where you are and how much snow you get. In regards to performance and power output, the sienna isn't going to spin any wheels on a launch, so awd is not needed for performance purposes. Weather wise, it provides extra traction even during rain, an unexpected turn/maneuver. AWD was a necessity for us just for the peace of mind especially with babies. Snow tires are always great to have if you have space for it. There is no spare tire because Toyota did not allocate the vehicle with it. We will ahve to look into an aftermarket solution or OEM retrofit.
I agree with you about the RES. If we had the choice, we would opt of the rear entertainment system and purchase an ipad or something (like you said) This decision is completely up to you. Toyota is marketing the 25AE as only 2525 units. Do you know if your dealership has more than 1 allocation already? If they had, this might be the last one they get? But don't hold me accountable for that statement, haha. I know for us, we needed AWD. Color preference, spare, ottoman, all the other options we were flexible with. Luckily we got the exact spec we wanted. AWD, white, and ottomans. No spare. Hope this helps!
I read that the XSE is stiff riding. How is the ride quality / suspension feel for you? Thanks.
I like the more direct steering feel and feels less floaty. It's perfect for us with the 18" wheels.
Does your car have the 1500w inverter? I noticed when building the sienna 25th anniversary on the Toyota website that you have to choose either the entertainment package or the inverter but it looks like yours might have both?
Yep all 25AE should include the inverter - although I did read in some posts that some did not have the 1500w power option

Congrats on the Tundra, Terence. We're in the same Toyota family. I believe your Tundra may get 10 year safety connect added on later 2023 based on something that I read. Unfortunately the R is gone and I miss it very much

Do you mean for a test drive? Probably not as most are sold before even arriving at the dealership. Best is to look at their used sales lot, carmax, or other dealerships that have Sienna as trade-ins. Best of luck!
I'm also looking into Getting 2023 sienna. I already have a 2012 XLE one. Any tips on how to get a good deal at the dealer?
Not many deals going on right about now with the Sienna inventory - or any hybrids for that matter. Best deal you can find is most likely MSRP with maybe some loyalty discount? Interest rates are super high so if you can wait, maybe put your name on a waitlist with a dealer that sells for MSRP. I recommend A1 Toyota all the way if you're close to CT. Good luck!

also lucky you found a dealer that sell at MSRP. I looked through most of the dealers in NJ, NY, PA, and CT, only a few that don’t have any mark ups, and a few of them only sell to in state or local customers..

I don't believe so, not on the Sienna. The windshield might be, but I doubt it.
What made toy choose the XSE over the Limited?
I chose the 25th anniversary for the XSE exterior looks, and the hand-me-down amenities from the limited trip. Best of both trims I guess.
@@ilimit so what's the difference between the XSE and LIMITED ??
XSE trim has a sportier suspension, more aggressive front grill, different rear bumper, black mirror caps, black roof rails, black out sienna logo, satin black console.
Limited trim: real leather vs softex, available ottomans, available digital rear view mirror, chrome sienna logo, chrome roof rails, 7” mid in the center cluster vs 4.2”, electronic telescoping steering wheel, ventilated front seats, memory function for 2 drivers, power folding mirrors. Not sure what else I forgot. Hope that helps Edwin.
