I got this rifle in 308. Fantastic firearm and the Magpul stock is easy to shoot left handed. Magpul bipod and a Leopuld VX Freedom 3-9x50 that has a red dot.

Small update. I replaced the Magpul bipod with a Atlas BT10 bipod. Magpul makes great stocks, magazines and other accessories but their bipods aren't as rigid as I'd like, at least for a rifle this heavy (9 pounds out of the box) with the kick of a .308Win. The Atlas is a more steady bipod IMO. The Magpul bipod isn't necessarily bad but the Atlas I got is just better IMO. That said, the Magpul bipod is still being put to use. I installed it on my Ruger American Rimfire instead. It's plenty adequate for a rifle that light and low recoil.
I got the Magpul bipod initially just because it was a Magpul stock. I just sort of figured they would go well together and if nothing else, it was an inexpensive option. After some trigger time, I decided to do a bit more research on bipods and what a rabbit hole I went down. There are LOTS of options and the prices on some of these things are ridiculous. The Atlas model I got, while pricey, was sort of in the middle in terms of cost and IMO at least, is worth the investment. In short, if you're going to invest on a rifle for long range shooting, I wouldn't say you need to buy the most expensive option but don't cheap out on the bipod either.

I have the exact same setup for about a year and over 500 rounds without any issues. Great setup for the price.

You just pull the bolt back and rotate to the left to remove it 👍

@@racknload if you look at the back of the bolt it’s tapered, so after you pull the bolt back and then turn it 180 degrees to the left and press the bolt release, the bolt taper will just clear the stock and come out, hope that’s helps, nice reviews 👍

I can confirm that is correct you can remove the bolt by turning it all the way to the left and sliding it back out. No need to remove cheek riser

@@racknload it will come out if you rotate properly. I have the Ruger hunter 308 and I put a Magpul hunter stanag stock on my Ruger 7.62x39

Your left handed, you probably have the same scar in your left thumb from the cocking piece lol I just bought the magpul stock for mine, hopefully if my thumb is wrapped around the top of the grip the bolt will miss it now
